About

scanAll

Features

Most scanner apps are where documents go to be forgotten. scanAll reads every page you scan — right on your iPhone — so you can find any document by what's written inside it. Search "687.50" and the invoice comes right up, with the amount highlighted on the page. And every feature is free, forever. No paywall, no subscription, no in-app purchase, no watermark, no scan limit, no account. FIND ANYTHING • Full-text search across your whole library — search by the words inside your scans, not just the filename • Matching text is highlighted right on the page, so you see where it is • Select and copy any recognized text — invoice numbers, amounts, addresses • Documents are named automatically from their contents • Organize with folders and tags, and filter by them alongside search • Find documents by title from iPhone search (Spotlight) and open them directly CAPTURE • Camera scanning with automatic edge detection and perspective correction • Multi-page documents in a single scan • Or import existing photos from your library • Import PDFs and images from the Files app — every page is read so you can search it like a scan • Text recognition runs in the background — your scan appears instantly • Start scanning with "Start Scan" in Shortcuts, by saying "Start a scan in scanAll" to Siri, or with a Lock Screen and Control Center control (iOS 18 or later) EDIT • Automatic and manual crop • Perspective correction and rotation • Four filters, each previewed on your actual page: Original, Grayscale, High-Contrast Mono, and Color • Delete, reorder, or re-capture individual pages • Redact — text under a blacked-out area is left out of search, copying and exports (document names you set yourself stay as they are) • Hide Numbers — finds Korean resident and alien registration numbers and card, account, driver's license and passport numbers, and blacks out the sensitive digits (such as the last 7 digits of a resident number) in one tap • Add pen, highlighter, signatures, stamps and text boxes — signatures are saved on your device for reuse • Correct recognized text — fix or delete lines, and search, copying, searchable PDF and Hangul, Word, Excel and text exports use your corrected text (the scan image is unchanged) • Rewrite Line — replace a recognized line with new text drawn in the same size, weight and color RECEIPTS AND BUSINESS CARDS • Expenses — pull the amount, date, merchant and business registration number out of receipts, review them by date, and export to Excel (XLSX) • Save a scanned business card as a new contact with the name, title, company, phone and email filled in EXPORT • PDF • Searchable PDF — the text layer is embedded, so it stays searchable everywhere • JPEG and PNG • Hangul (HWPX), Word (DOCX), Excel (XLSX) and plain text — text and tables carried over so you can edit them • Review and fix tables before exporting • Preview the files you made before sending them (formats that support preview) • Attach exported files to a new email in one tap (the share sheet opens if Mail isn't set up), or save to a Files folder (iCloud Drive, Google Drive and more) in one step • Quality options for PDF, images, and documents that include scan images • Lock PDFs with a password, and put the front and back of an ID card on one page at actual card size ON-DEVICE & PRIVATE • Text recognition runs entirely on your iPhone, in the languages set on your iPhone (Japanese, Chinese, major European languages and more, plus English) • No account, no sign-in — documents are stored on your device, not in a cloud • Your documents and recognized text are never sent anywhere — files go out by email or to a drive only when you choose • The library screen shows ads — personalized only if you allow tracking, and no ads on the scan, edit or export screens • Scanning, recognition, editing and conversion work in airplane mode (only email and drive transfers and ads use the network) Free. Private. And your scans are finally findable.
