Tucson Eats is Tucson's local food ordering and delivery service. Order from local restaurants for delivery or pickup, pay by card, and follow your order to the door. WHY TUCSON EATS - Local: owned and run in Tucson. The people who answer the phone are the people who run the company. - Fair to restaurants: our fee is a fraction of what the national apps charge, so more of what you spend stays with the restaurants you love. - Simple: pick a restaurant, pick your food, choose delivery or pickup, pay. Reorder your favorites in two taps. - Order by phone too: call 520-891-1700 any time and our assistant takes your order from start to finish. - HungryBucks rewards: earn on every order at participating restaurants and spend them on the next one. HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign in with your mobile number. We text you a six-digit code; there is no password to remember. 2. Browse restaurants near you, or search by dish. 3. Build your order with the add-ons and notes you want. 4. Choose delivery to your address or pickup at the restaurant, pay with a saved card, and done. 5. Watch the order move from accepted to on the way to delivered, with your driver on the map. FEATURES - Delivery or pickup from every restaurant on Tucson Eats. - Scheduled orders: pick a time later today or another day. - Live order tracking with the driver's position during delivery. - Saved addresses and saved cards for fast reordering. - Text and push updates at every step. - Masked calling: reach your driver without sharing your phone number. - Food truck map: see where the trucks are today. - Catering and wholesale ordering for businesses that have an account with us. LOCATION With your permission the app uses your approximate location, only while you are using it, to show restaurants near you and to fill in your delivery address. You can type an address instead. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tucson Eats at none against Provecho's 1. Tucson Eats also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). Provecho's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months) and chart position (#78 vs unranked). On price and ads there is nothing between them.
