Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: OpenHTML at 5.0 against WebPen's 3.7. OpenHTML also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 8 months). WebPen's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
