Mapulse lets the people close to you follow your race live, whether it is a trail, a marathon or an ultra, with nothing to install. You share a link, they open a web page: your position on the map, your heart rate, your pace and your elevation gain update there in real time. NOTHING TO INSTALL FOR THE PEOPLE FOLLOWING YOU One link, one web page. Your parents, your club or your friends have no account to create and no app to download. The link stays private: it is never indexed, and never guessable. YOUR WATCH OR STRAP OVER BLUETOOTH If your watch or heart rate strap broadcasts its heart rate over Bluetooth, Mapulse reads it and shares it with the people following you during the race. Your phone remains the source of your position. Not every watch can broadcast it: your watch's manual says whether it can. Mapulse only reads the device you picked. YOUR WATCH IS ENOUGH The Mapulse app on Apple Watch starts the activity and records the effort without the phone in range. Heart rate, distance, pace and duration are sent up as soon as the link is back. BUILT FOR NETWORK BLACKOUTS In the mountains, the network disappears. Mapulse keeps recording and catches up as soon as the signal returns, with no gap in the track and no duplicates. This behaviour has been proven on a real race. TOGETHER A session can gather several runners. The people following you see them all on the same map, each with their own live metrics. WHAT YOU SHARE IS YOUR CALL Health data is collected only after an explicit consent, kept separate from sign-up. You can stop sharing at any time, and delete your account from the app. Mapulse is built in France. Data is hosted in Europe. Note: the app interface is currently available in French only.
