A crowded grid, blocks wedged against each other, and somewhere on the edge a door in each block's color. Block Escape: Puzzle Jam is a timed block puzzle: hold a block, drag it freely until something stops it, and steer it to its door so it slides off the board. A door only lets a block through if it spans the full side touching it, and the pieces run from single squares to Ls, Ts, crosses and 3×3 slabs. Clear the grid before the countdown hits zero. The clock waits for your first drag, so the order can be worked out before anything moves. You can lose a level to the clock, to a bomb, or to the gates. Every time a block leaves, all the gates on the board switch at once, open to shut and shut to open, and if that leaves no remaining block a way out, the level is over. Bomb Blocks count down their own seconds next to the main timer, and the level ends if one of them gets there first. As you go further, new pieces arrive with a quick explanation and soon start sharing boards with the old ones. Star Blocks leave only through a Star Door of their color, though a Star Door will take ordinary blocks too. Colorful Paths let one color cross and act as walls to the rest. Pointer Blocks slide only horizontally or only vertically, which makes them the piece everything else has to work around. If time is short, Freeze halts the countdown and the bombs for a while; if one block is holding everything up, Hammer clears it; and if one color is scattered all over the board, Magnet removes every block of it in a single tap. Choosing a Hammer or Magnet target pauses the clock. Boosters unlock gradually and can be topped up with coins. Even a lost level can often be rescued: add time, give a bomb more seconds, or flip the gates once more, and press and hold on the fail screen to study the board first. Main levels work offline, progress stays on your device, and everything plays in portrait with one finger. Once you are far enough in, Dragon's Treasure also opens at regular intervals: one hundred players start, you need seven wins in a row, one loss puts you out, and whoever lasts splits the coin pool. It needs a connection to join, and so does the leaderboard, which ranks by levels cleared. Add a seven-day reward cycle with bonuses for total days, a profile with avatar, frame and nickname, and HARD LEVEL warnings before the toughest boards.
