Mootch Remote

Mootch Remote turns your iPhone or iPad into the missing half of your Mac teleprompter. Pair it once with Mootch on your Mac, then step away from the keyboard — everything you need during a take is in your hand. STAY IN CONTROL, OFF CAMERA Start, pause, and reset the prompter without touching the Mac. Jump back to the top, skip between cues, and glide through your script with precise, tactile controls designed for use mid-recording — no fumbling, no looking down for long. A LIVE MIRROR OF YOUR SCRIPT See exactly what the prompter shows, in real time, on your iPhone or iPad. The pace HUD tells you at a glance how fast the text is moving, so you can nudge the speed or text size in fine increments until it feels right. YOUR IPHONE IS NOW A WIRELESS MIC Mootch can follow your voice as you speak. With Mootch Remote, your iPhone becomes a wireless microphone for the Mac — clip it to your shirt or set it on the desk, and the prompter follows you from across the room. DIRECT THE STAGE FROM YOUR SEAT Switch voice-follow modes (manual, simple, or smart), flip the display horizontally or vertically for beam-splitter rigs, toggle the reading guide, docking, and click-through — every display setting on the Mac, reachable from the couch, the tripod, or the back of the studio. TURN YOUR IPAD INTO A PROMPTER Prompter mode makes the iPad a full teleprompter display of its own — perfect as a second screen next to the camera while the Mac stays at your editing desk. A CONNECTION THAT JUST WORKS Pairing happens over your local network and heals itself: if Wi-Fi hiccups or you switch networks, Mootch Remote reconnects automatically and picks up where it left off. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your local network. No account, no cloud, no audio ever leaves your devices — voice processing happens entirely on your Mac. Mootch Remote requires the free Mootch teleprompter app for macOS, with your iPhone or iPad on the same network as your Mac.
