About

TheOracle

The Oracle is a thoughtful I Ching practice for moments when a question, decision, relationship, or change deserves deeper attention. Hold one real focus, turn your iPhone face down, and feel the traditional 50 yarrow-stalk method unfold through gentle haptics. When the casting is complete, turn it face up to reveal the present hexagram, its changing lines, and the pattern emerging. CAST WITH INTENTION The Oracle models the yarrow-stalk process as a quiet ritual performed by you. It creates space to concentrate before the reading appears - because reflection begins before interpretation. READ THE WHOLE CHANGE Explore all 64 hexagrams in clear modern language or through James Legge’s classic translation. Read the present hexagram, each changing line, and the resulting hexagram as one connected movement. BRING YOUR LIFE INTO THE READING Add the context only you know, then request an optional AI-generated Oracle Reflection that relates the full reading to your situation. The reflection is designed to support your judgment - not replace it or tell you what to do. RETURN WHEN THE MOMENT HAS MATURED Completed readings are saved in your on-device history, so you can revisit a question and notice what became clearer over time. Your reading journal stays on your device. Personal text leaves it only when you choose to request an Oracle Reflection. Complimentary readings are included. Additional yarrow stalks are available through optional one-time in-app purchases; there is no subscription. The Oracle does not predict a fixed future. It offers a structured encounter with change - a quieter way to listen, consider, and choose for yourself.

A tactile three-stage casting ritual, subtle haptics, and optional voice guidance create space to slow down before the reading appears. READ THE WHOLE PATTERN Explore the primary hexagram, the active moving line, and the changed hexagram. Each reading uses clear, modern language while preserving the distinct meaning, timing, and tension of the I Ching. GO DEEPER WITH AI When you want a more personal perspective, request an AI interpretation grounded in your question and the reading you cast. Receive a concise core answer, relevant context, practical next steps, and points to consider. KEEP A PRIVATE JOURNAL Save and revisit complete readings on your device. Search your history, add personal notes, protect the journal with the system privacy lock, and share a beautifully formatted reading image when you choose. CHOOSE YOUR ATMOSPHERE Cast with Oracle Light, Living Ink, or Indigo Current. Themes change the visual environment—not the method or result. Between Lines includes local readings and offers optional purchases for personal AI readings, premium themes, and Pro access. Between Lines is intended for reflection and personal insight.
