How it works: • Add a contact and encrypt your message • CipherX turns it into a secure code • Send that code any way you like • The recipient pastes it into CipherX to read the original message Key features: • Modern, industry-standard encryption (P-384 ECC + HPKE) • Secure key generation • Saved contacts for easy reuse • Secure data wiping • Apple Keychain protection CipherX is built for people who want strong privacy without complicated tools.

About

Enigma Cipher The Unbreakable

Features

Turn your iPhone into an authentic WWII Enigma machine. Send encrypted iMessages that only recipients with matching settings can decode — just like the real thing. Make your cipher unbreakable by defining your own custom rotors and reflectors, eliminating the historical Enigma's notorious no-self-encrypt weakness. Cipher any language in any app with the Enigma Keyboard and Share Extension. HOW IT WORKS The Enigma cipher routes each keypress through a cascade of rotors and a reflector, substituting letters in a way that advances with every press. The simulated historical machine uses different rotor types, reflector types, positions, ring settings, and plugboard pairs — producing ciphered text exactly as it was done in history. The app also revitalises the historical machine by letting you define custom rotors and reflectors. Custom reflectors can include fixed points, eliminating the no-self-encrypt weakness. The expanded code space reaches 26! × 26! × 26! — approximately 10^78 — making messages virtually unbreakable. Enigma Cipher also supports all world languages, and lets you cipher and decipher in any iPhone app via the Enigma iMessage Extension, Enigma Keyboard, and Enigma Share Extension. FEATURES · iMessage Extension — compose and send encrypted bubbles directly in Messages; tap a received bubble to decrypt · Custom Keyboard — type encrypted text in any app, with a compose area showing plaintext and ciphertext side by side · Share Extension — highlight any text in any app and decrypt or encrypt it instantly · 5 historical rotors (I–V), 3 reflectors (UKW-A/B/C), and a 10-pair plugboard · Design your own custom rotors and reflectors with a visual wiring editor and randomizer; add fixed points to your reflector to eliminate no-self-encrypt · Share Enigma settings with another iPhone via QR code display and scan · Codebook — save, load, and share machine configurations · Signal path animation — watch each keypress travel through rotors, reflector, and back · Brass and mahogany UI inspired by the original hardware · Sound effects · Fully offline — no account, no server, no data collection THE MACHINE The container app is your settings and codebook control centre. A gear dial row at the top shows rotor positions in real time. Change rotors and rewire plugboard cables with a realistic interactive UI. The tester lets you encrypt and decrypt on a lampboard-style keyboard, with paper tape strips for input and output. All settings — rotor choices, ring settings, reflector, plugboard, and initial positions — are shared across the Enigma Keyboard, iMessage Extension, and Share Extension. SHARING SETTINGS Export your machine configuration as a QR code to share with a friend. Both devices must use identical settings to exchange readable messages — exactly how Enigma operators coordinated in the field. PRIVACY Enigma Cipher is fully offline. No data ever leaves your device. No analytics, no tracking, no ads.
