Song Hive is the personal music library and practice companion for the songs you actually play. If you've ever opened a notebook, a Google Doc, a pile of chord PDFs, and an Apple Note to dig up a song you learned last year, this is for you. Song Hive keeps every song in one place, tracks how well you know it, and tells you what to practise next so the ones you half-know don't quietly slip away. WHAT YOU CAN DO Build a repertoire that sticks - Chords, lyrics, and personal notes for every song - Already have the words? Import lyrics from a Word document, PDF or text file, verse breaks intact - Tag by band, genre, gig, or any category that fits how you think - Search, sort, and browse your whole library at a glance - Add your own fields to every song — a key, a capo note, who sings it — short or long Stop forgetting songs you learned - Rate lyrics and music familiarity separately on a 0–5 scale - Spaced-repetition scheduling surfaces the songs that need you most - Instrumentalists can switch the lyrics axis off; vocalists can hide music - A forecast calendar shows the weeks ahead Practice sessions that play themselves - Tap start and Song Hive sweeps you through what's due, full-screen - Each song opens to the right tab at your saved font size and scroll speed - Rate when you're done; tomorrow's list updates automatically - The Practice Randomiser picks a song at any familiarity level you choose - A Home Screen widget shows what's due today and starts the session in one tap Set lists for every gig - Drag to reorder; pick chords, lyrics, or notes per song - Import a set from a public Spotify playlist or album URL - Perform mode: full-screen, swipe between songs with a counter - Practice mode: rehearse the whole gig end-to-end with ratings as you go - AirDrop a set to a bandmate — Song Hive merges it without overwriting their edits - Pin a set list to the Home Screen widget and tap straight into Perform Hands-free on stage - Pinch-to-zoom font sizing from 8pt to 40pt, remembered per song - Auto-scroll from 0.25x to 4x, saved per song - Keep-screen-awake for a dedicated teleprompter feel Daily reminders that work - As many schedules as you need, with per-day toggles and per-schedule session size - Tap the notification and land straight inside a practice session Your library, everywhere - iCloud sync keeps songs, set lists, tags, familiarity, and practice history in lockstep across iPhone and iPad - Import / Export a .songhive file to back up, migrate, or share only the sections you want - Switching from OnSong, SongbookPro or BandHelper? Import your songs (ChordPro files, a BandHelper export, or a folder of PDFs) and bring your whole repertoire across PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your songs live in your own iCloud, and Song Hive has no servers of its own. The app sends crash reports and usage statistics to help fix problems and improve the app, never your library. Add your first songs free. Unlock an unlimited library with a one-time in-app purchase — no subscription, no ads. Ready to stop forgetting the tunes you learned last year? Download Song Hive and build your first set.

Notation is professional sheet music notation for composers, arrangers, and music students. Capture a motif at the piano, tweak harmony on your commute, or share a link before rehearsal—all on iPhone or iPad with lyrics and chords. If you read a staff, you can go from a piano sketch to multi-staff scores for class and rehearsal. TOUCH NOTATION A notation keyboard replaces deep menus: tap notes and markings, or select on the staff to edit. Undo/redo for commutes, rehearsal gaps, or at the piano. On the free tier, inserting or editing measures shifts later bars automatically so the rest of the score stays aligned. WRITE AND HEAR IT Multi-staff playback; on long scores, playback follows your edit position. Composer Pro: per-staff Mute and Solo for full scores. WEB SCORE SHARING Generate a web score link—text or email to teachers, singers, or collaborators. Any browser shows standard notation and multi-part playback without installing the app. Print-friendly pages for handouts. PDF for archives and fixed layout; web links when your choir or band needs to hear the piece before rehearsal. Many mobile apps stop at PDF or screenshots; Notation shares playable web scores with the same playback and layout as on your device. EXPORT AND INTERCHANGE MusicXML, MIDI, PDF (screen preview + A4 print PDF). Import MusicXML without length limits—continue in MuseScore, Sibelius, etc. Free tier: starter export allowance. Composer Pro: unlimited export, clean PDF (see app for web-link limits). IPAD PRO WORKSPACE On iPad, library and score sit side by side for desktop-like sessions. iPhone: full notation and sharing when you are catching ideas on the go. YOU CAN ALSO: - Piano keyboard chord stacks; multi-verse lyrics with melismas and paste lyrics line by line; measure insert/copy/paste/delete - Ties, slurs, manual beams—free - Cloud sync (web links need sign-in + sync); Composer Pro: 8 staves, 2 voices per staff, transpose, meter changes NOTATION COVERAGE: * Notes/rests, dots, ties, slurs, beams (manual break/join) * Triplets; quintuplets–septuplets (Composer Pro) * Ornaments, articulations, dynamics, hairpins * Lyrics (verses), chords; title/composer/lyricist header * Clefs, time, tempo; major/minor keys; accidentals * Repeats, voltas, D.S./D.C.; pickups; measure-level edits * Templates: piano grand, treble/bass single staff, custom; long-score paging SUBSCRIPTION & LEGAL (COMPOSER PRO — OPTIONAL) Notation offers an optional paid membership called Composer Pro.
