About

Rain Gauge

Features

Rain Gauge: Rain Log helps you track rainfall for your lawn, garden or property and compare recent rain with a weekly goal. Check weather estimates, review upcoming rain and add measurements from your own physical rain gauge. Start by choosing a location and setting its weekly rainfall goal. View yesterday's total and recent records in inches or millimeters, then use the forecast and your local conditions to help decide whether to water. Seven-day and 30-day totals cover complete days through yesterday in your location's time zone. Today's gauge reading is shown separately until that day is complete. RECORD WHAT FELL AT YOUR LOCATION Add a gauge reading for today or another available date. Use your measurement as the day's final total, keep it beside the weather estimate for comparison, or save an adjusted value. Add a note about a storm or your gauge. Editing a date updates its existing reading. Weather estimates and physical measurements are identified separately. A missing weather estimate is shown as unavailable, not as zero rainfall. CHECK RAIN BEFORE YOU WATER Compare recorded rainfall with your weekly goal and review expected precipitation over the next 48 hours. When recent records and forecasts are available, Rain Gauge provides a watering reference based on those values. If data is missing or out of date, check your soil and gauge before making a decision. Each saved location has its own name and weekly goal. Use the app for a home garden, lawn, vegetable patch, cabin or other property. FREE FOR YOUR DAILY RAIN LOG Free includes one saved location, seven-day history details, manual readings for today and the previous seven complete days, a 30-day total on the Today screen, rainfall forecasts and watering reference. Switch between inches and millimeters at any time. RAIN GAUGE PRO Pro adds: • Up to 10 saved locations. • A 30-day calendar, rainfall statistics and edits to older readings available in the calendar. • Monthly summaries across 12 months of available saved records, with data coverage shown. • Home Screen widgets showing the latest rainfall data saved by the app. • CSV export with location, date, weather estimates, measured and adjusted amounts, data source and notes. Exported amounts use millimeters. When available, weather history is fetched for the most recent 30 complete days when you open a location. Earlier months accumulate as you use the app; a complete year is not automatically available. Missing days are not counted as dry days. Open Rain Gauge to refresh the data shown by widgets. Weather updates require an internet connection. Weather estimates may differ from your physical gauge. Plant needs also depend on soil, temperature and other local conditions; watering guidance is a reference, not an irrigation prescription. Rain Gauge is not for flood, emergency or other safety-critical decisions. Pro is available through an auto-renewing subscription. Plans and prices appear in the app. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://respected-course-3ef.notion.site/Privacy-Policy-388f4af95e31804895f8df4eff44094f
