FlowNote vs Vanishing Notes

FlowNote transforms your voice into organized, searchable notes — all protected with end-to-end encryption so only you can read them. SPEAK NATURALLY, STAY ORGANIZED Just tap and talk. FlowNote instantly transcribes your voice and automatically categorizes your notes using AI. No typing, no manual filing — your thoughts are captured and organized in seconds. END-TO-END ENCRYPTED Your notes are encrypted on your device before they ever leave it. We use AES-256-GCM encryption — the same standard used by banks and governments. Even we cannot read your notes. Your encryption key never leaves your device. SEARCHABLE WHILE ENCRYPTED Unlike other encrypted note apps that require decrypting everything to search, FlowNote uses blind index technology. Search your notes instantly on the server without ever exposing your content. SMART LIST DETECTION Say "I need to buy milk, eggs, and bread" and FlowNote automatically extracts a shopping list. Lists sync across your devices and merge intelligently — add items from your Watch and they appear in your existing list. APPLE WATCH APP Capture thoughts the moment they happen. The standalone Watch app lets you record, transcribe, and save notes without your iPhone. Perfect for workouts, commutes, or anytime inspiration strikes. LOCAL AI OPTION For maximum privacy, enable on-device AI processing. Your notes are categorized entirely on your iPhone using a local language model — nothing is sent to the cloud.
