Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Reverse Singing at fortnightly against Backwards Voice Recorder's every 3 months. Reverse Singing also leads on ratings volume (7.9K vs 1) and chart position (#93 vs unranked). Backwards Voice Recorder's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reverse Singing sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Backwards Voice Recorder sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
