BreakOff helps you decide when your phone is useful, and when it should get out of the way. Real, enforced blocking powered by Apple's Screen Time API, not gentle reminders you can swipe away. Everything you need to block apps is free. No account required. PUT THE OFF SWITCH IN ANOTHER ROOM Every other blocker keeps the escape hatch in your pocket. BreakOff lets you move it into physical space. - QR unlock Start a break, save the code, then leave it somewhere you have to walk to. The fridge. A drawer. The next room. Getting your apps back means getting up. - NFC tag unlock Tap a tag to end the break. Stick it on the fridge, a bedroom doorframe, the inside of a drawer, your gym bag. One tap, no fumbling with your phone. Bring your own tag. Any standard NTAG sticker works. Tags are not included. Distance does the work, so willpower does not have to. BREAK TOGETHER A break nobody else is taking is easy to quit. - Share any break and everyone joins the same clock. You all go phone-free at the same time, and it ends when it ends. - Send it as a link or a QR code, whichever is easier in the moment. - Your Circle shows who is breaking and who is holding a streak. HOST A BREAK Sometimes the point is the room, not you. Host a break other people join by scanning a printed poster. They do not need an account. Up to 10 people per break. A classroom that starts phone-free. A team offsite where nobody is half-there. A dinner table, a workshop, a rehearsal. One poster, everyone scans, phones go quiet together. FOUR WAYS A BREAK CAN END Mode answers one question: how does this break end? - Flexible: your apps are blocked, and you can end the break whenever you want - Locked: the break runs its full length and cannot be ended early - QR Code: same scan in, same scan out. Leave the code somewhere you have to walk to - NFC Tag: same tap in, same tap out. Stick it on the fridge, a drawer, your gym bag Set the length with the stepper, or choose Until Tomorrow to stay blocked through to midnight. RULES AND ROUTINES - Rules are your repeating blocks. Weekday mornings, every evening after 9, study hours on Sunday. Unlimited on every plan. - Routines bundle a few Rules into one setup you can add in two taps. Work Focus, Slow Morning, Better Sleep, School Focus, Family Time, Weekend Reset. - Plan ahead with one off blocks on specific calendar dates. ALSO IN THE APP - App groups: any mix of apps, whole categories, and websites - Pause a Flexible break for a few minutes when you genuinely need to - Emergency breaks for the days that need one - Streaks, daily progress, and an activity feed FREE VS PRO Free: - Every mode, including QR and NFC unlock - Unlimited repeating Rules - The full Routine library - 2 app groups - 3 people in your Circle - 1 shared invite running at a time - 3 emergency breaks a month Pro: - Host a Break for up to 10 people - Unlimited app groups - Unlimited Circle - Unlimited shared invites - 3 emergency breaks a week WHO IT IS FOR - The self aware scroller who knows they are on their phone too much - The professional who needs real deep work blocks - The student who wants study hours that hold - Anyone with ADHD friendly focus needs - People who tried Opal, one sec, or ScreenZen and wanted something more flexible PRIVACY FIRST BreakOff uses Apple's Screen Time API. You scroll. You don't think. Now: Your phone is the easy escape. When work gets hard. When you're bored. When you're avoiding something. You reach for your phone out of instinct. After Stackwall: You tap a distracting app, Stacky opens instead. You tell him what's happening. He helps you pause, rethink the moment, and choose what to do next. [HOW IT WORKS] Block distracting apps. When you open one, Stackwall opens instead. Chat with Stacky AI about the moment. He responds to what you tell him and offers swipeable cards based on your needs. Cards can be better self-talk, affirmations, steps to focus on your goal/task, or ideas for something better to do. When a card fits, keep it, edit it, save it for later, or record it in your own voice. Then tap through cards, play a game, or use the timer for a focus session. Each tap, game, and session earns time. Spend your earned time to unlock your apps. They lock again when the time runs out. Stacky sets daily spend limits, so even if you earn a lot, you can only spend so much time every day. [THE 24-HOUR RULE] Set your blocking rules while you're calm. Changes to blocked apps, categories, earn rates, and unlock limits take 24 hours to apply. An urge cannot change them in the moment. [FEATURES] - Block selected apps and categories with Screen Time - Chat with Stacky, an interactive AI guide - Swipe through cards for self-talk, focus, and next steps - Edit, save, favorite, and organize phrases - Record phrases in your own voice - Play voice recordings while you tap or use the timer - Earn time with taps, games, and timer sessions - Spend earned time in temporary unlock passes - Set an optional hard daily unlock limit - Track streaks, daily goals, activity, and brick wall progress - Add Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets - Start without an email or account [WHO IT'S FOR] • You reach for your phone when work gets hard, boring, or uncomfortable • You bypass the limits you set the same day • You want app blocking that requires effort, not just another timer • You want a hard daily ceiling, not only friction • You want something to do instead of doomscrolling • You want to get back to what you meant to do • You want access to be a choice, not a reflex Terms of Use (EULA): [https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/](https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) Privacy Policy: [https://www.stackwall.app/privacy](https://www.stackwall.app/privacy)
