Build smarter range sessions and see real-world results. Golf Range Trainer replaces aimless ball-hitting with clear, structured plans that target the parts of your game that cost you shots. What it does • Structured Sessions: Pre-built and customizable practice plans for driver, irons, wedges, chipping, and putting—each with clear shot counts and success cues. • Bad Shot Fixer: Guided range side checklists to reduce slices, tame hooks, stop fats/thins, and tighten dispersion. • Ball Count Control: Choose focused sets (10–100 balls) to practice with intent. • Swing Prompts: Simple drills and club notes so each session builds on the last. • Levels for Every Golfer: Starter, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced paths keep practice challenging without being overwhelming. • On-Range Friendly: Large text, short instructions, and step-by-step flows designed for quick glances between shots. Why it works Golfers improve fastest when practice is specific, measured, and repeatable. Golf Range Trainer gives you structure (what to do), constraints (how many balls, which clubs), and feedback prompts (what changed)—so you can focus on quality contact, start-line, and distance control. Popular sessions • Fix Slice / Fix Hook • 100-Yard Wedge • Driver Start-Line & Face-to-Path • Putter Drills • Straight / Draw / Fade Patterning Made for the range No launch monitor required. Use the clubs you already own and build a repeatable routine that transfers to the course. Subscriptions Monthly and annual plans available as in-app purchases. Practice with a point. GolfRange keeps your rounds and your range sessions in one place, then turns them into the numbers that actually move your scores: fairways, greens, putts, and the miss that keeps costing you strokes. Scoring a round is quick and hole by hole. For each hole you set the par, the strokes, whether you hit the fairway or missed left or right, whether you hit the green, your putts, and a tag for the miss that shaped the hole: fat, thin, slice, hook, push, or pull. A season of those tags becomes a pattern, and the stats screen reads it back to you: your slice shows up on this many holes and cost about this many strokes over par. What you get: - A hole-by-hole scorecard for par, strokes, fairways, greens, putts, and the miss on each hole - A miss pattern breakdown that ranks your misses by how many strokes they cost - Season stats: fairways hit, greens in regulation, putts per round, and up and down - An unofficial handicap-style index computed from your recent rounds, with a scoring trend and index history - Range sessions that log drills by club with a focus note and a rating, plus a practice streak - A fix plan for your dominant miss: the clubs to work, the drills to run, and proof it is dropping round over round - Scoring by hole type, so you see how you play par 3s, 4s, and 5s - Season records: your best round, fewest putts, best fairways, lowest index, and longest practice streak - Search and filter your rounds by course and year - A season summary PDF plus a full CSV export of every hole to keep or send to a coach The index in GolfRange is an unofficial practice number from your recent rounds. It is not a USGA Handicap Index and is not for official competition. Everything stays on your iPhone. No account, no cloud, no tracking. Free and Pro: - Free: three rounds and three range sessions, scored in full, with round search and filter. - Pro: unlimited rounds and sessions, the full stats screen, your fix plan and its trend, scoring by hole, season records, the unofficial index, and the season summary PDF and CSV export. Pro is a subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime unlock. Subscription details: Pro subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
