They ask. You understand. HeyDaddy helps you say it in English. Children ask at the least convenient moment. You understand the question and you know the answer in your own language, but producing a natural English sentence on the spot is another thing. HeyDaddy takes what you type or say and gives you back a short, correct, age-appropriate English sentence - fast enough that the conversation keeps going. THREE WAYS TO ASK • Explain - answer your child's question in English they can follow • Say it - you know what you want to say; type it and get the English • Word - meaning, pronunciation, an example sentence and pictures HEAR IT AND SAY IT • Read the answer aloud in American or British English • Slow a sentence down when you need to • Practice: hear the line, say it yourself, then listen back SIZED FOR YOUR CHILD • Pick an age band - 2-4, 5-7 or 8-10 - and the answer changes with it • Tap "Simpler" when a sentence is still too long • Ask a follow-up in the same thread PRIVATE BY DEFAULT • Recordings are never kept - only the text • History stays on your device and can be switched off • Works straight away, with no account to create HeyDaddy Plus unlocks unlimited answers and a more natural reading voice. The free tier is enough for a normal day. HeyDaddy is a tool for parents - not an English course, and not an app for a child to use alone.
