Learn the fretboard. Train your ear. Keep your whole playing life in one place. Fretify turns the hardest part of guitar into something you actually want to do every day. A game drills every note on the neck, real tools help you practice, and the gear side keeps track of your instruments and the nights you play them. Whether you picked up the guitar last week or you have been gigging for years, Fretify meets you where you are. LEARN THE FRETBOARD A fast, focused game that drills the neck in both directions. See a fret, name the note. Get a note, find every position. Pick your strings, your fret range, and your tuning, then build the muscle memory that makes everything else easier. Daily streaks keep you coming back. TRAIN FOR REAL Guitar Training and Ear Training take you past guessing. Play along, get instant feedback, and learn to recognize what you hear. This is practice that sticks. CHORDS, SCALES AND THEORY Look up any chord and hear the voicing. Use the Chord Finder to name the notes you pick anywhere on the neck. Explore scales and modes as patterns you can actually see. Build chord progressions and turn them into full songs. A TUNER THAT KEEPS UP Accurate, real-time pitch detection for 6, 7 and 8 string guitars. Standard, Drop D, Drop C, DADGAD, Open G, Open D, half and full step down, plus custom tunings. Your tuner and your games stay in sync with each guitar's setup. A METRONOME THAT GROWS WITH YOU Start with clean time, BPM and time signatures. Then reach for presets, a tempo trainer that speeds up as you play, subdivisions, and sampled drum kits when a click is not enough. YOUR GEAR, YOUR GIGS Track every guitar and every piece of the rig: tuning, setup, string age, service history and what each one cost. Fretify even nudges you when it is time for fresh strings, by days or by sessions, whichever comes first. Log the nights you play, however much of the rig came along. Add the fee, the merch, the fuel and the food, and see what a gig actually paid. Takings shows the month, the running total, where the money goes and which rooms are worth the drive. A map pins everywhere you have played. WHY GUITARISTS CHOOSE FRETIFY Built for every level, from first chord to full set Practice that feels like play, not homework Everything in one app, from the fretboard to the finances Clean, modern design that stays out of your way Free to start. Guitar Codex is the app you reach for every time you pick up a guitar. Find a chord, run a scale, tune up, or sit down for a proper lesson. It works for total beginners and for players twenty years in. THE TOOLS Chord Finder: tap the frets on a blank fretboard and watch the chord names appear. Play a shape you can’t name and find out what it is, or build a chord note by note and see how it’s made. Note Map: every note on the neck, lit up by octave. Pick a note and see every place it lives, then open a tip and watch the octave pattern drawn right on the fretboard. Chromatic tuner with a smooth needle and presets for Standard, Drop D, Open G, DADGAD, and more. Reference pitch is adjustable from 432 to 445 Hz. Metronome with tap tempo, time signatures, and a visual beat indicator. An interactive circle of fifths: tap any key and see its seven chords, its key signature, and its relative key. THE LIBRARIES Every chord, scale, arpeggio, and triad renders on the same big, high-contrast fretboard diagram, with each note color-coded by its job in the shape: root, 3rd, 5th, and so on. You learn why a shape works, not just where your fingers go. Chords: every common type and voicing, with CAGED positions up the whole neck Scales: five boxes per scale, a full-neck view, and advice on when to use each one Triads: three string sets, three inversions each, all on one page Arpeggios: chord tones mapped across the neck for every quality THE COURSE 140 lessons in 12 modules take you from holding the guitar for the first time through chords, scales, theory, the CAGED system, progressions, modes, songwriting, technique, genre studies, and fretboard and ear mastery. Lessons teach with diagrams and real songs, and they’re written to be read with the guitar in your hands. All of Module 1 is free. Guitar Codex has no subscription and never will. The free version includes the Chord Finder, the Note Map, the full tuner, the metronome, and a real taste of everything else. Two optional one-time purchases unlock the rest: Pro, the complete reference toolkit, and Complete, which adds all 140 lessons plus every lesson added in the future. Buy it once and it is yours for good.
