Arcwise vs BD

Pacecat Path is your dedicated ballistics-calculator companion app designed for the Pacecat rangefinder. With seamless device connection, environmental input, and model selection, this app delivers real-time ballistics results—distance compensation, wind drift, trajectory curves—all at your fingertips for field use or training.

App Name: BD-Engine Subtitle: Wireless Ballistic Calculator Description: BD-Engine is a professional ballistic calculator that connects wirelessly to the BD-Engine hardware module via Bluetooth Low Energy, delivering real-time, high-precision trajectory computation. Built for precision shooters, BD-Engine provides fast and accurate firing solutions with the power of a dedicated solver and the simplicity of a mobile app. Key Features: Instant Wireless Pairing — Connect to the BD-Engine module over BLE in seconds. Auto-reconnect remembers your last device. 3DOF Ballistic Solver — Advanced three-degree-of-freedom trajectory computation for accuracy at any range. G1 & G7 Drag Models — Supports both industry-standard drag functions for precise bullet matching across all common calibers. Full Environment Setup — Temperature, pressure, humidity, altitude, wind speed and direction, shooting angle, and muzzle cant — all at your fingertips. Real-Time Trajectory Table — View drop, windage, velocity, and time-of-flight at every range increment. Verify your zero with a dedicated check distance. Custom Bullet Profiles — Configure caliber, weight, ballistic coefficient, and twist rate for your exact load. Dual Unit System — Toggle between metric and imperial units on the fly. Standalone Operation — Once configured, the hardware module computes trajectories independently — no phone required for firing solutions. BD-Engine combines dedicated ballistic hardware with an intuitive iPhone interface for shooters who demand precision. Note: Requires a device equipped with the BD-Engine BLE hardware module (sold separately).
