Hellbound Hearts is the home for horror fans — a community where you can connect with people who love the same scares as you, watch movies together in real-time theater rooms, share what you're watching, and link up at conventions and events. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Connect with the horror community. Find people who share your taste in horror — slasher, supernatural, cosmic, psychological, whatever scares you the most — and link up at conventions, screenings, midnight shows, and haunted attractions. • Watch movies together. Real-time theater rooms let you watch public-domain horror classics with friends, with synchronized playback and live chat overlay. Movies AND TV series. No streaming subscription needed — every film is free to stream from the Internet Archive. • Share what you're watching. Post your latest watch, your spookiest reads, your most haunting games. See what your friends are obsessing over with "Now Watching," "Now Reading," "Now Listening," and "Now Playing" post types. • Get the news. Curated horror genre news — film, TV, books, games, conventions — surfaced when you open the app. A daily pulse with what's haunting horror this week. • Build your watchlist. Track movies, books, podcasts, and games across one unified collection. Mark what you've watched, rate it, share it. • Invite your friends. Share Hellbound Hearts with the horror fans you already know. Help the community grow. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT Built by horror fans, for horror fans. Not another general social app with a horror filter — every feature is designed around how horror communities actually work: deep genre knowledge, convention culture, shared theater experiences, public-domain film discovery, and the kind of recommendations you only get from someone whose collection is as dark as yours. PRIVACY YOU CONTROL You decide what's public, who can message you, and how location-based matching works (city-level only — we never store your precise location). Settings → Privacy lets you opt out of analytics with a single toggle. Detailed privacy controls in the app and in our policy at hellboundhearts.com/privacy. WHO IT'S FOR 18+. Hellbound Hearts is built for adult horror fans. Some content discussions involve themes that are unsettling by design — that's the genre.
