Readling — learn Russian by reading books Ease into Russian one page at a time. Readling offers two ways to read: books where Russian phrases are gently woven into the English text, or parallel reading with the original and translation side by side. You choose the mode and how much Russian you want to see. No cramming. You simply read — and step by step you start to understand Russian in context. How it works • Pick a book and a reading mode. • In immersion mode, Russian phrases are blended into the English text — you read as usual, but every page brings a little more Russian. • In parallel mode, the original and the translation sit side by side — perfect for comparing and unpacking unfamiliar structures. • Tap any word you don't know to see its translation instantly. • Every translated phrase is saved to your personal dictionary and ready to review with flashcards. Chat with book characters • Practice Russian for real — message the heroes of your favorite books. • Each character replies in their own voice, and the app gently corrects you when you slip up and shows you how to say it right. • Pick your partner's level — from simple phrases to free-flowing speech. • Real conversation practice without the fear of making mistakes — you learn by talking, not by memorizing. Practice to learn new words • Flashcards — review your saved words and phrases • Sentence builder — assemble phrases like a puzzle to train grammar • Fill in the word — restore the missing word in a sentence from a book • Listening — rebuild a sentence by ear • Training of the day — a fresh set of tasks every day • Three difficulty levels — tune it to your level Features • A catalog of books in Russian with levels from A1 to C2 — with search and sorting • Can't find the book you want? Request it right in the app • Audio for words, phrases and whole paragraphs — hear the correct pronunciation at the speed you choose • Daily streaks — read or practice every day and earn free days of Premium • Reading settings: font, text size, line spacing, brightness, dark theme • Personal libraries — collect books by interest • Upload your own books — read any EPUB, with tap-to-translate working even offline • Invite a friend — 7 days of Premium for each of you Readling is for anyone who wants to • Start learning Russian — even from scratch • Grow vocabulary naturally • Learn Russian without boring drills • Combine a love of reading with learning a new language Open a book — and Russian becomes part of your reading. Tenth Word
Read full descriptionHide full description
Open a Russian book and some of the words are already English. How many is up to you: the ring turns from 0 to 100%. At 10% every tenth word is English — hence the name. It still reads like an ordinary book, but every paragraph hands you a new English word in a context where the meaning is obvious without a dictionary. Your brain fills in the rest — that is how vocabulary sticks. If it does not, tap the word to see what it replaced. Learned a word? Remove it, and the freed percent goes to the next one. — For native Russian speakers: the books and the interface are in Russian — Your own books: EPUB, FB2, TXT — Fully offline: the dictionary lives inside the app — Word order never reshuffles when you change the percentage — Proper nouns and ambiguous words are never translated — Themes, typefaces, size, line spacing — No ads, no data collection Three days free. Then ten pages a day free, or a one-time purchase — not a subscription.
