Vimini vs Best Bites Mobile App

The all-in-one app for restaurant aficionados: share reviews with friends and save your favorite places. No login required. Easily save your favorite restaurants. Ever forgot a cool place you just visited once? Ever recommended the same three places again, because you couldn't remember that hidden gem? That's why we created vimini: a calm, curated and personal space to save all your favorite restaurants and remember what made them special. But it's not all. Manage your lists. Easily. Import your lists from your notes or Google Maps directly on vimini, to have them all in a single, easy to use and to share place. And with automatic lists, whenever you'll review a restaurant you like, we'll add it automatically to themed lists. Of course, only if you want: it's always you in charge of the whole thing. You can also, with a tap, save new places from Google, Instagram or TikTok. Recommendations from friends, not endless or AI-first results. The Netflix effect for restaurants is real: we lose more time browsing through endless search results, and lots of anonymous reviews, reading just 4/5 of them per restaurant, for then to go back to your classic spots. On vimini, you can just browse all your friends favorite places and read their reviews. Less options? Maybe. Faster, better and more interesting discovery? Absolutely. A little friendly competition never hurts. Settle once and for all who is the Pizza King, or who is the authority for Greek restaurants. As you add places, you'll earn badges for the categories & countries where you eat the most. This way, you'll know in no time who to ask for tips for your holiday in Italy or for that special occasion. Since everyone loves bullet points, here's at a glance all you can do inside vimini: - Save your restaurant experiences and keep track of every place worth remembering. - Read your friends reviews and choose in a 1/10th of the time where to eat next. - Build curated lists you can share with anyone. - Use our super-powered chat to exchange recommendations, organise dinners, and run polls when the group cannot agree. - Share your reviews and lists even with friends who are not on vimini.

Best Bites is the food app you've actually wanted: it tracks the dish, not the restaurant. Most review apps tell you a place is "4.2 stars" — which is useless when you're standing at the counter trying to decide what to order. Best Bites flips that. You rate the specific dishes you love on a 1-to-10 scale, and the app remembers them for you, your friends, and anyone scrolling the Top Bites list nearby. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT • Rate the dish, not the restaurant. A mediocre place can have one perfect plate — Best Bites surfaces it. • A 1-to-10 scale, not stars. There's a real difference between a 7 and an 8, and the app respects that. • Built for foodies, not tourists. No ads, no sponsored placements, no "promoted listings." Just dishes, ranked by people. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Search any restaurant from a global database of millions of places. • Snap a photo of a dish and rate it the moment it hits the table. • Follow friends and chefs whose taste you trust — see what they've been ordering. • Browse Top Bites near you, in your home city, or anywhere in the world. • Build a personal log of every great meal you've had, with photos and notes. • React to friends' reviews with emojis, leave comments, and discover new spots through people you follow. PRIVACY THAT'S ACTUALLY PRIVATE We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We don't profile you. Email and home city stay private. The only things visible to other users are your name, the reviews you write, and the photos you attach. Made by a real person who got tired of asking the waiter "what's good here?" and getting "everything." Best Bites answers that question for you, with receipts.
