Zado Messenger vs FAAB

Zado — the messenger that speaks every language. Your family in another country, a team without a shared language, someone you met on the road… Zado translates as you talk, so nobody has to switch languages. MESSAGES IN YOUR LANGUAGE Every incoming message appears in your language, with the original right next to it. Listen to voice messages in your language, too. MULTILINGUAL GROUPS Everyone writes in their own language, and everyone reads in their own language. LIVE CAPTIONS ON VIDEO CALLS What the other person says appears on your screen in your language. On group calls, each speaker's words appear on their own line, with their name. VOICE TRANSLATION Hear the other person in your own language on one-on-one calls. You choose how much of the original voice you hear. FACE-TO-FACE INTERPRETER Put your cell phone between you and talk. Zado listens to both sides and gives each translation both in writing and out loud. You can also translate signs, menus, and documents with your camera. VIDEOS AND IMAGES, TRANSLATED TOO Watch the videos you receive in chats with subtitles in your language, and translate the text in photos, too. 100+ LANGUAGES WE DON'T KEEP YOUR MESSAGES Text messages are deleted from our servers 2 minutes after they are read. Photos, videos, and documents are deleted 7 days after they are read, and anything that is never read is deleted within 30 days at the latest. Your chat history stays on your device. Cloud backup is optional; if you turn it on, a copy of your chats is kept on our servers until you delete it. A COMPLETE MESSENGER One-on-one and group chats; voice messages, photos, videos and documents; voice, video and group calls. In chats, on calls or face to face — Zado removes the language barrier everywhere. ZADO ASSISTANT Ask questions, have it write or improve text, or make a plan. It searches the web for current topics and replies in whatever language you write in. FREE AND PREMIUM Message translation is free. Live captions, voice translation, the interpreter, translation of voice messages, videos, and images, and the assistant come with limits in the free version; Zado Premium removes these limits. FAAB is a quantum-secured messenger from FAAB Group Inc.: direct messages, group chats, voice and video calls, and a sealed vault for your files. Built so the servers that relay your conversations learn as little as possible, and honest about where that protection stops. QUANTUM SECURED • Direct messages between two people are end-to-end encrypted with post-quantum keys that are agreed between the two phones and keep moving as you talk. The servers relay envelopes they cannot open: text, photos, videos, voice notes, files, replies, reactions, edits and deletions alike. • Voice and video calls, one-to-one and in groups of up to 32, are end-to-end encrypted with a key that reaches each person inside their own encrypted conversation. The server still learns who called whom, when, and whether it was voice or video. • Your keys are born on your phone, mixed with quantum-origin randomness captured during sign-up, and your private keys never leave it. FAAB shows you a Key Birth Certificate. FAAB QUANTUM SECURE VAULT Keep photos, videos and files sealed on your phone, each under its own key. Sort them into folders, open them in the iPhone's own viewers, and share one with a link you can turn off at any time. A link opens only inside FAAB, after the person who shared it is added to your contacts. SECURE CLOUD Keep your account, contacts, chats and vault safe if you lose or change your phone. Everything is sealed on this phone first — FAAB can't open it. A new phone signed in to the same Apple account restores it with one tap, and you can add an optional recovery key. WHAT IS NOT END-TO-END • Group chats are encrypted in transit to the server, not end to end. The server stores group history and can read it. Every group in the app is labelled this way. • Even for direct messages, the server sees metadata: who talks to whom, when, and how much. FINDING PEOPLE Choose an @handle. Add people by their @handle, by scanning the QR code on their phone, or from the link it carries; after a scan, FAAB refuses a changed key for that contact instead of silently accepting it. FAAB never reads your address book. ON YOUR PHONE • App lock with a 6-digit PIN and Face ID or Touch ID. • A privacy cover hides the app in the app switcher. • Notifications don't show message text unless you turn that on. • Link previews are fetched by your phone, and you can turn them off. • Share from any app: in Photos, Files or anywhere else, Share › FAAB sends to your chats or saves to your vault. NO ADS, NO TRACKERS No advertising, no analytics and no tracking SDKs. OPEN TO EVERYONE FAAB is free and open to anyone: no invitation, no waiting list, no organization to belong to. INDEPENDENT AUDIT FAAB has not had an independent security audit yet. Until it has, please don't rely on it where a failure could put someone at risk. Delete your account: Settings › Delete all data.
