ViaShare
Read full descriptionHide full description
ViaShare is built for local, cross-platform sharing across multiple devices. Share content between phones, tablets, and computers on the same local network. ViaShare supports text, clipboard content, photos, videos, audio, files, and folders, making it easy to move and access content across your devices. Unlike many sharing apps that focus only on sending files, ViaShare is designed around a more flexible flow: you choose what to share, and other devices actively choose what to fetch. That makes it especially useful for multi-device setups and local network collaboration. This positioning aligns with the broader category language used by competing apps, but gives ViaShare a clearer βon-demand accessβ angle. Why ViaShare β’ Cross-platform sharing on the same local network β’ Share text, clipboard, photos, videos, audio, files, and folders β’ Other devices fetch content on demand β’ Better for multi-device workflows β’ Simple local sharing without unnecessary steps Great for β’ Sending photos and videos between phone and computer β’ Sharing documents and folders across devices β’ Moving clipboard content between devices β’ Letting multiple devices access shared content when needed β’ Local network file pickup at home, at work, or in meetings ViaShare makes local sharing more flexible. Share once, fetch from any nearby device when needed.
BLE Inspector
Read full descriptionHide full description
BLE Inspector is a Bluetooth Low Energy debugging tool that helps you discover nearby devices, inspect advertising data, connect to peripherals, and browse GATT services and characteristics. Read characteristic values, send text or Hex data, subscribe to Notify/Indicate, and review communication logs. Packet templates, automated test flows, archived reports, and throughput testing help streamline device validation. The app also includes scan history, offline and advertising-change events, signal comparison across nearby devices, GATT snapshot comparison, data conversion, and local network file transfer. A per-minute scan health log helps you track long scanning sessions. Connections, reads, writes, and subscriptions run only when you start them, or when you turn on auto-connect for a saved device profile. Built for Bluetooth Low Energy developers, firmware engineers, device validation teams, and QA testers.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: BLE Inspector at every 6 weeks against ViaShare's every 3 months. ViaShare's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
