Learning that actually sticks. FlashCards is the smart flashcard app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It shows you each card just before you would forget it – thanks to proven spaced repetition. 8 Algorithms. Your Rhythm. FlashCards is the only app that offers eight spaced repetition algorithms: • FSRS – The most advanced algorithm, dynamically calculating stability and difficulty per card; in two versions: the new FSRS 6 with a personalized forgetting curve (default) and 4.5 • ACT-R – Cognitively grounded model: schedules reviews using the power law of forgetting, adapted per card • Anki – Refined SM-2 variant with four rating buttons and per-card easiness factor • Bayesian – Probability-based optimization for maximum efficiency • SM-2 – The proven SuperMemo classic • Leitner System – The classic card box method, digitally reimagined • 6-Phases – Progressive intervals from same-day to 90 days • Flat – Simple: 10 correct answers in a row = learned Choose the algorithm per card box individually – switch anytime. Flashcards • Front, back, and optional notes side • Attach images and files, record pronunciation directly • Tag cards and browse tags across all boxes • Mathematical formulas in LaTeX notation • IPA phonetics and text-to-speech in 39 languages • Make a card from any app: share text, a link, or an image Share & Discover • Share card boxes directly from the app via link • Search the built-in catalog and import ready-made boxes with a single tap • Updates for imported boxes • Import your existing Anki decks (.apkg) • Import vocabulary lists from CSV Training • Four study modes: Classic, Multiple Choice, Speak & Repeat, and Type the Answer (the last three Pro) • Configurable session size, study direction, and training source • Learning status per side: learn recognizing and recalling separately • Cram mode (Pro): work through a whole box before an exam – without changing your review schedule • Pause cards by hand or automatically after repeated mistakes – level and history kept • Undo your last rating, resume an interrupted session Statistics & Sync • Learning streak with streak freeze, year-long heatmap, progress charts, and per-card history • Study mode usage breakdown and retention rate per algorithm • Learning Insights: forecast, memory strength by deck, best time to study, cards that are stuck (Pro) • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets (Pro) and daily reminders • Siri, Shortcuts, and Control Center: start training, ask for due cards • Spotlight search: find your flashcards system-wide • Three themes: Azur Blue, Rose, and Classic • iCloud sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac Who is FlashCards for? • Students & Pupils – Vocabulary, formulas, definitions • Language Learners – Pronunciation, IPA, and native voices • Professionals – Jargon and certifications Start Free. About

Deckmere Flashcards

Features

Deckmere is a flashcard app for your own study material. Bring it in from Anki, a spreadsheet or your notes, review it with FSRS spaced repetition, and check the answers you feel sure about. Buy once for the authoring tools. No subscription or account. BRING YOUR MATERIAL • Import Anki packages (.apkg and .colpkg, older and current exports) with formatting, tags, subdecks, images and audio. Basic, reversed and cloze notes come across; anything Deckmere cannot show is named before you import. • Keep your Anki progress or start fresh, your choice. Importing the same deck again updates what changed and keeps your own edits. • Import CSV or TSV files and pasted two-column lists, with a preview of the real cards before anything is saved. • Write cards yourself, or try the sample deck. • Every deck gets a picture that follows its name, or one you choose. REVIEW WITH FSRS • Today shows what is due, a short session of ten cards or a few minutes, and a clear rest when nothing is due. • Reveal the answer, then choose Again, Hard, Good or Easy and see each next interval before you choose. • Undo the last grade. Hear a side read aloud with your device's voices in the deck's language. CHECK WHAT YOU ARE SURE ABOUT • A self-check takes up to 10 cards: type an answer and choose your confidence before you see the card. • Mark your answers yourself and retry the mistakes, confident ones first. Your FSRS schedule is not changed. YOUR DATA, YOUR FILES • Back up everything to one file and restore it on your iPhone or iPad. Restoring only adds what is missing. • Export to Anki, or export card text as CSV or TSV. • Your library stays on your device and can sync between your Apple devices through your own iCloud. FREE, AND PRO ONCE • Free, with no cap and no time limit: cards and decks, review, the self-check, import, export and backup, and five generated cards a day. • Pro: add images, audio, cloze and image occlusion; make cards from PDF pages and photos; keep a saved mistake list and self-check history; plan toward a goal date; edit many cards at once; draft cards without a daily limit. • Card drafting runs on your device, with Apple's on-device model where available and a rules-based helper elsewhere. The screen says which one drafted. • One purchase, Family Sharing included. Restore Purchases restores it with the store account used to buy it; purchases on Apple and Google are separate.
