Protos vs Anchor

Understand the Bible better. The Bible can feel confusing. Protos puts the explanation, the history, and the context right next to the verse, so you finally get what you are reading. For anyone who has read a passage and thought "wait, what does this mean?" New to the Bible, coming back to it, or years in and still hitting verses that don't add up. WHAT MAKES PROTOS DIFFERENT Most Bible apps give you the text and stop there. Protos explains it. - Verse-by-verse commentary from Tyndale and JFB, scholars Christians have trusted for over a century. Real explanations, not AI guesses. - A built-in Bible dictionary. Tap any name, place, or word to see what it meant. - Historical and cultural context, so the verse makes sense in its own world. - A short guided study every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Who Jesus is, what salvation means, what the church is for, how to read the Bible well. No seminary degree required. - 8 guided reading paths for new readers and anyone working through doubt. - The Berean Standard Bible built in, plus KJV, ASV, WEB, NET and more to download free. - Word study tools that make Greek and Hebrew approachable. - Sermon Notes with one-tap verse insertion and auto-save. - Highlights and notes that sync across your devices. - A reading tracker that helps the habit stick. Anchor keeps every prayer you find – and helps you actually pray it. You find prayers everywhere: in a video you scroll past, a reel a friend shares, a post that stays with you. Anchor turns them into words you can keep. SAVE A PRAYER IN TWO TAPS • Tap Share on a prayer video and choose Anchor – or paste the link. • Anchor writes the prayer down as clean text, without the intro and the "follow for more". • The creator's name and a link to the original video stay with every prayer. PRAY IT IN YOUR OWN TIME • Every prayer is laid out line by line, so you can pray it slowly. • Write your own prayers, or hold the microphone and speak them. THE BIBLE BEHIND EVERY PRAYER • Anchor shows the Bible verses a prayer is built on. Tap a verse to read it, or read the whole chapter. • Turn any prayer into a short SOAP study – Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer – and make it your own. • A complete Bible is built in – World English Bible and Berean Standard Bible, plus the King James Version outside the UK – with search, highlights in five colors, notes and bookmarks. READ WITH A PLAN • Join a reading challenge for what's on your heart – peace when you're anxious, strength for hard days, how Jesus prayed – or read a whole book in 7 to 30 days. • A gentle daily reminder if you want one, and a streak that keeps you going. SERMON NOTES • Record a sermon, choose an audio file or paste a YouTube link – Anchor writes the notes for you: a summary, key learnings, the Bible verses, an application and a prayer. • Tap a verse to read it in the built-in Bible. Notes from earlier versions of Anchor stay in your list. ONE LIBRARY FOR ALL OF IT • Every prayer as text, one tap away. Sort them into collections for mornings, hard days or the people you pray for. • Today opens with one of your prayers, ready when you are. • Share a prayer, a verse or your study as a beautiful image. SUBSCRIPTION Anchor requires a subscription (yearly or weekly). Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
