The clearest difference is rating: epschedule at 5.0 against goPETL's 3.3. epschedule also leads on update cadence (daily vs weekly). goPETL's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
epschedule holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of goPETL's written reviews are positive against 80% of epschedule's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
goPETL ships an update weekly, epschedule daily. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
