Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WPT Live at none against DriversCircle's 3. WPT Live also leads on ratings volume (24 vs 1). DriversCircle's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

DriversCircle holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WPT Live has 24 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
WPT Live ships an update weekly, DriversCircle every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
