Mesos
Read full descriptionHide full description
Mesos is a mesocycle programmer for lifters who already train by volume landmarks and RIR. It builds a hypertrophy block, adds volume week to week, calls your deload, and β unlike most apps β shows you why it made each call. Programming you can audit Most autoregulation tools hand you a number and ask you to trust it. Mesos shows its work. Every time it adjusts your sets, it tells you what it read from your logs β your RIR, your soreness, your performance trend β and how that maps to a volume change. If you disagree, you override it. The app adapts to your decision; it doesn't argue. Built around volume landmarks Set your MEV (minimum effective volume) and MRV (maximum recoverable volume) per muscle group, or start from sensible defaults and tune as you go. Mesos starts each muscle near its MEV and progresses toward MRV across the block, then deloads before recovery debt stalls your progress. RIR-driven progression Log each set with reps, load, and reps in reserve. Mesos reads the trend across sessions and adjusts the next week's volume from your actual performance β not a fixed template. Sets get added when you're recovering well, held when you're not, and pulled back when the data says you're at your ceiling. Deloads when you need them, not on a fixed calendar The app watches for the signals that precede a stall β rising RIR at the same load, soreness that doesn't clear, performance flattening β and proposes a deload when they accumulate. You confirm or push the block one more week. Your call, with the evidence in front of you. A logger that stays out of the way The free tier is a full training logger: exercises, sets, reps, load, RIR, and per-muscle volume totals. No trial timer, no nag screens. Log your training as long as you like. Upgrade only when you want the programmer to plan and autoregulate the block for you. Free tier - Full set and session logger - Per-muscle weekly volume totals - MEV/MRV reference per muscle group Mesos Pro ($9.99/month or $69.99/year, 7-day free trial on yearly) - Automated mesocycle programming, MEV to MRV - RIR-based weekly volume autoregulation - Deload detection with explained reasoning - Per-set and per-muscle progression history - Full manual override on every recommendation Built for intermediate and advanced lifters who train by the numbers. If you already think in volume landmarks, RIR targets, and recoverable volume, Mesos speaks your language.
