FM Playground is an educational app designed for learning and experimenting with FM synthesis (Frequency Modulation Synthesis). Developed as part of the "2025 Swift Sound - Creative Coding for Computer Musicians" project at MARTE Lab, Department of Multimedia, Dongguk University, by Yeonho Kim, Taejun Kim, Seoyul Son, and Sookyung Yoon, with guidance from Gwangyu Lee. The app features multiple interactive views where users can manipulate sound in real time using touch gestures and iPhone sensors (gyroscope, compass, etc.). Key Features: - What is FM Synthesis?: Learn the fundamentals of FM synthesis with an interactive view. Adjust sliders to hear real-time modulation effects and explore complex timbres. - Gesture-based control of timbre, frequency, and volume across various interactive views. - Open-source code available for study, experimentation, and expansion.

WRECK destroys audio in the most musical ways possible. Reduce bit depth down to 1-bit dust. Decimate the sample rate to dial frequencies. Smear jitter across the clock. Mangle wavecycles at the zero-crossing level. WRECK puts every form of digital degradation in one place. Clean destruction or full collapse — it's yours. — BITCRUSHER — Bit Depth from 24 down to 1. Dead Zone and Dither shape the quantization character. Quant Mode selects the rounding algorithm. — SAMPLE RATE REDUCER — Decimate the sample rate from full down to aliased chaos. Tempo sync locks it to your host BPM. Jitter adds clock instability. — CYCLE MANGLER — Operates on individual wavecycles. Amount controls how aggressively cycles are reshaped. Shape blends between cycles. Sens sets the zero-crossing detection threshold. — DRIVE SECTION — Drive pushes the signal. Bias offsets the waveform asymmetrically. Alias adds deliberate aliasing artifacts. Oversample when you need clean destruction instead. — FILTERS — Pre and post filters (cutoff + Q) bracket the destruction. Shape what goes in, shape what comes out. — MIX & OUTPUT — Dry/wet blend for parallel destruction. Output gain to compensate. — AUv3 PLUGIN — Run WRECK inside AUM, ApeMatrix, Audiobus, or any AUv3 host. Multiple instances, each with independent settings. — WORKS ON — iPhone and iPad, all modern screen sizes.
