Something's on your mind, and the right words are just out of reach. Reflection Partner is an AI app for self-reflection that helps you put difficult thoughts and feelings into words. BRING AN UNFINISHED THOUGHT Things people might bring: "I keep saying I'm angry, but that's not quite it. Something about that conversation really got to me." "I can explain why either choice makes sense. I'm having trouble hearing what I actually want." FIND THE WORDS YOU'RE LOOKING FOR You often know the right words when you see them. Reflection Partner responds to what you bring with language you can try on: a phrase that helps you hear what you've been trying to say, or a distinction that lets you understand it differently. DESIGNED TO CONTRIBUTE WITHOUT TAKING OVER • Careful attention to the experience itself. A qualification, a mixed feeling, or a passing detail can change what you understand. • Help that doesn't jump ahead. Being given an explanation and coming to recognize something for yourself are different experiences. • Room for the unresolved. Something can become easier to understand and still be difficult to live with. A response doesn't need to settle it. HOW IT WORKS 1. Say what's on your mind. Type it or speak it: a conversation you're dreading, a decision you're stuck on, or a feeling you can't quite pin down. 2. Choose a response. Strands offers options from your own words, a step at a time, for you to choose from. Bearings offers one considered view that adds something new. Read the reply or listen to it. 3. Make room to reflect. Your response choice is remembered on this device. You can also ask for another response to your latest message in either mode. Some replies take a few minutes; you can leave the app and choose to be notified when they are ready. 4. Keep what fits. Save passages from replies to return to later. If you're not sure how to start, Ways to Begin offers optional starting points. WHY AI You choose what to reflect on and decide what it means. Reflection Partner's responses are a little like picking up a book and finding a passage that connects with what you're working through. Neither the author nor the AI knows you, but if something rings true, it's still true. WHAT IT ISN'T Reflection Partner is not therapy and does not provide mental health treatment, diagnosis, or crisis support. It's for putting something into words, often before you talk with someone or decide what to do. It isn't an AI companion. It doesn't claim feelings, simulate affection, or ask for loyalty. A conversation can end when it has done its work. Responses are generated by AI, and AI can get things wrong. PRIVACY Reflection Partner does not sell or rent personal information and does not use the content of your reflections for advertising. You can delete individual reflections or your whole account in the app. The interface is in English. Responses adapt to the language you use.
