Agavey vs PediGreeN

Agavey is an app that brings together "Root, Observe, and Grow" for Agave lovers. It was created to visualize the "differences" in how each person grows their plants and turn that experience into shared wisdom. More than just a tracking app, it is a tool for Agaves and people to grow together through observation, recording, and cultivation. Main Features ■ Growth Records Register actions such as watering, lighting, fertilizing, and pruning with a single tap. You can save temperature, humidity, notes, and photos together, allowing you to review changes in growth at a glance. The group function also enables bulk recording for multiple plants. ■ Plant Shelf Manage plant names, purchase information, planting dates, and reminders all in one place. Centralize the management of your entire Agave collection. ■ Calendar Record watering and care status by date. You can manage a list of plants and see exactly what actions were taken on any given day. ■ Overlay Camera & Time-lapse Take frame-by-frame photos using the overlay camera. You can also turn those images into time-lapse videos to share the growth on social media. ■ Notifications & Reminders Receive automatic notifications for watering and care timing. PediGreeN is an app for managing your plants' pedigree and cultivation records, individual by individual. [What You Can Record for Each Plant] • Cultivar/individual name, genus, species, cultivar name, common name • Scientific name, auto-generated from your classification data • Origin, source, and purchase price • 5-star rating, tags, and free-form notes • A multi-photo gallery, plus side-by-side comparison shots to track growth over time • 12 types of care logs (watering, repotting, fertilizing, and more), with weather and temperature recorded automatically • Scheduled care dates with reminder notifications [Serious Pedigree Tracking] Just set the mother and father for any plant at the time of a cross or division, and a pedigree tree is generated automatically. Trace back up to 5 generations to see exactly where a plant came from — and what it has produced. [QR Plant Tags, Printed at Home] Connect over Bluetooth to a Brother P-touch printer (PT-P300BT, PT-P700BT, and more) to print QR-coded plant tags directly. Choose which details to include — cultivar name, ID code, scientific name, and more — and customize the layout. Scan the QR code on any tag to jump straight to that plant's record. [PG-pass: Hand Off the Whole History, Not Just the Plant] When you sell, trade, or gift a plant, share its full record — cultivar, photos, pedigree, and care history — with a single link. The recipient just taps it, and the plant is imported straight into their own PediGreeN. [Manage Plants Together in Groups] Organize plants into groups by growing area, source, or pest-control routine. Reminders and batch care logging work at the group level, while individual care records are still tracked per plant. [Your Data Stays Yours] Records are stored on your device by default. Turn on iCloud sync to keep everything up to date across your own devices. (When you use PG-pass, only the shared plant's data is uploaded externally.) [Pricing] Free to manage up to 20 plants and 3 groups. Unlock unlimited plants and groups with a subscription — $6.99/month or $69.99/year. *Subscription plans and pricing are subject to change.
