Book

Book-E-Kids turns reading into something you can watch grow. Every book a child adds plants a tree in their own private forest: starting a book plants a seedling, finishing it grows the tree, and reading it again makes it blossom. Nothing wilts, nothing is scored, and no one is ranked. For children - Add a book by scanning its barcode, searching, or typing its name. - Keep a simple reading log: start, take a break, keep reading, finish. - Watch the forest grow, and pick its look: meadow, autumn, night, or snow. - Every forest also has a list view, so it works with screen readers. For parents - You own the family account; children are profiles, never accounts. - A password gate protects settings, groups, export, and deletion. - Create private reading groups with families you know, by invite code only. - Set a cooperative goal for the group. Everyone reads toward one number. - Export everything as a file or delete the family at any time. What we never do - No ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking, no public profiles. - No messaging between children, no leaderboards, no streaks to lose. - Camera images stay on the device; only the confirmed book is saved. Books are looked up in the Open Library and Google Books catalogues. Reading happens with real books; the app is the log, not the library.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Book at none against Yeetcode's 3. Book also leads on update cadence (daily vs fortnightly). Yeetcode's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
