BuddyNotes is your private dating journal for remembering the people, places, and moments that shaped your love life — with no account, cloud sync, or social feed. YOUR HISTORY, ORGANIZED • Save every story with a first name or nickname, city, relationship type, date or date range, tags, and personal notes. • Find any entry quickly with search, filters, and sorting. • Write down memories, feelings, and anecdotes without ratings or judgment. SEE THE STORY BEHIND THE STORIES • BuddyMap places your memories on a personal map, helping you revisit the locations that mattered. • BuddyWrapped creates an anonymized look back at time periods, cities, relationship types, tags, and patterns in your journal. • Share only the summaries you choose through your device’s system share sheet. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your journal is stored locally in an encrypted database on your device. • No account, no cloud sync, and no public profile. • Protect access with Face ID or Touch ID. • Create a password-protected encrypted backup and restore it on another device. BuddyNotes is not a dating service: there is no chat, matching, or introduction feature. It is a personal space to remember, reflect, and understand your journey. BuddyWrapped and the ad-free experience are available through a one-time in-app purchase. No subscription.
Jing Tracker

Jing tracker is a sexual wellness tracker meant to help you kept track of how often special events happen in your life. This app has no frills, no ads, and no agenda. It's not meant to help you quit masturbation or encourage you to have more sex. It simply puts the ability to track this data into your hands. Here is a brief overview of how to use Jing Tracker, and its four pages. The initial "Log" page is where you can log wellness events as they happen. The "Statistics" page is where you can view some simple statistics of your tracked events over a selectable time period. The "Calendar" page allows you to browse through your tracked events in a calendar view which I figured was intuitive for this time-series data. You can also edit the events of any given day by clicking on it. Last is the "Settings" page where you can export, import, or clear your data. Please note that all of the data in the above screenshots is generated and not from my personal use of this app. That's not something I want to share with strangers, and I imagine you might feel the same way which is why data privacy was a key design factor when developing this app. Jing Tracker does not connect to any third-party services. Your data stays on your device managed by iOS. This may include a backup to iCloud, but that is configurable by you. This app is open source! Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Jing Tracker at none against BuddyNotes's 1. Jing Tracker also leads on ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
