Animated Tactics turns your idea into a moving football tactic. Build a scene on a clean pitch, give your players runs, layer your analysis on a timeline, press play — and export a looping GIF or a video that explains the idea in seconds. No video editor needed. BUILD THE SCENE • Full 11v11 board with editable team names, kit colours, player names, numbers and position codes • 11 formations, applied per team (4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2 and more) • Move a whole block at once with team select — the shape stays intact • Position codes on every dot (LB, RCB, CAM) so the diagram reads at a glance — or show player names instead • Two player styles: the look of our analysis films, or the classic marker • A player sent off? A side can play with fewer than eleven THREE WAYS TO CREATE MOVEMENT • Tap out waypoints to sketch a run • Draw a run with a single drag • Keyframe mode: park the clock on a moment and place a player there READ THE PLAY • Passing-options overlay showing which passes are on • Ball possession, passes and carries ADVANCED EDITING — A TIMELINE FOR YOUR ANALYSIS • Every annotation is a layer, and every layer is a clip on a timeline: drag its ends to decide when it appears • Spotlight: ring the players the scene is about and dim the rest • Measure: the space behind the last line, in metres, as it changes • Link and Shape: lines and shapes drawn from the players themselves, moving with them • Zone: a box that counts who is inside it • Scratchpad and Arrows: freehand ink and straight or curved arrows, timed like everything else • Keyframe against a photograph: keep a reference picture beside the board SHARE IT • Export a smooth looping GIF, or an MP4 video in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1 — sized for social media and team chats — with the scene's name as a caption if you want it • With Pro: 4K video, and GIFs 1080 px wide • Choose how long the scene runs: 10, 15, 20 seconds or your own number • Save scenes into projects, duplicate one to explore a variation, open a .zip of scenes as a project • Full undo and redo MADE FOR THE SIDELINE AND THE STUDIO • iPad-first: in landscape the pitch lies down and the tools move into trays; a focused layout on iPhone • Works offline — nothing you create leaves your device unless you share it • In English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Turkish ANIMATED TACTICS PRO The free version includes every feature of the board — the timeline, MP4 video, all 11 formations, keyframing from a photograph, your files in the Files app and match data from real fixtures (with a free account, Sign in with Apple) — and 10 exports a month, carrying the Animated Tactics mark. Animated Tactics Pro unlocks unlimited exports, 4K video and GIFs 1080 px wide, and no watermark or your own logo — as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ PRIVACY No ads, no tracking. The app counts its own use anonymously — never your boards, never anything you type — and you can turn it off in Settings. An account is needed only for match data, and it holds nothing about your boards. Your tactics are yours. Questions or ideas? https://x.com/AnimatedTactics
