About

Luontoretki

Luontoretki.fi is a 100% Finnish app. It is a foraging and hiking companion built for Finnish terrain. Plan a trip, follow your own location and your companion's on the map, and keep the places, routes and tracks that matter in one app. It brings terrain maps, GPS, navigation, weather and nature data and your own trip notes together into one calm tool for mushroom and berry pickers and everyone else who spends time in the forest. Free use covers a day trip: base map and GPS, route following, the species guide, weather and safety information, offline caching of your current map view, and a limited number of saved places all work without a subscription. Luontoretki Premium adds room and convenience for regular use: more saved places, routes and tracks, more trip plans, unlimited offline map packs, and friend location sharing. The subscription is EUR 19.95 per year and includes a 7-day free trial. It renews automatically and can be cancelled at any time. Safety is not behind the paywall. Return routing, species and conservation-area reminders, weather warnings, and the privacy, export and deletion tools are meant to stay available to every user. Community season reports appear on the map as limited, identity-hiding observations that expire on their own. Luontoretki has no user profiles, no feed, no comments, no direct messages, no following and no resharing. Friend location sharing is a safety feature you turn on separately.
