Phones do the math for us now. Math Blitz is a reason to do it yourself, quickly, against other players. Join a room and the same question shows for everyone at once: 7 × 8, 46 − 19, 13 + 28. The first right answer lands a hit on the others. Run their energy down to win the round. Win two rounds and you win the match. It's for grown-ups as much as kids. Parents race their kids, friends race each other, and the questions get harder as the match goes on. HOW A MATCH WORKS • Everyone gets the same question at the same moment. • Pick from four answers. The first right answer hits. • A wrong tap locks you out of that question and shows you the right answer. • Everyone starts a round with six blocks of energy. Each hit takes one. Lose them all and you're out until the next round. • Get three right in a row and you go giant. Your hits count double, and so do the hits you take. • Best of three rounds. Addition, subtraction and times tables, harder each round. WAYS TO PLAY • Quick Match puts you in the next race with a free seat. • Open rooms: anyone can join, up to 4 players. • Locked rooms: up to 8 players. Friends join with a 4-digit key. • Crew rooms: race the people in your crew. • When open rooms are quiet, practice players fill the empty seats so you're not left waiting. Practice players are run by the app, not by people. They never sit in locked or crew rooms. YOUR CARD • After 5 races, your card shows your speed average: your usual time on a right answer. • Speed, Accuracy and Streak ratings, and a rank colour from White to Black. • Tap anyone in a room to compare your card with theirs. YOUR CHARACTER • Dress up your fighter: skin, hair, eyewear, outfit and more. • Or play as the ice dragon. CREWS • A private group for people you know. Start one and share the code. • Race your crew in your own room. • Invite people you've raced with. ON IPAD • The answer keys sit on both sides of the screen, where your thumbs already are. MATH BLITZ AT 7 • One reminder a day at 7 pm. Turn it off in Me. PLAYING SAFELY • There's no chat. Players can send only a few set reactions. • Typed names go through a filter. You can report any name and block any player. • Under 13: analytics stay off, and nobody can find you by searching your name. • No ads. Nothing to buy. Do the math. Yourself.
