ScrollGuard helps you cut down on mindless screen time so you can use social media to stay connected, without getting sucked into the endless feed. Instead of blocking entire sites or apps, ScrollGuard uses a Safari browser extension to hide the most addictive parts of social media websites: endless feeds, Reels, Stories, Explore pages and other attention traps. Because it filters content directly in the browser, you don’t have to lock yourself out of your accounts, rely on willpower, or delete anything. You keep the useful parts, without the constant pull to keep scrolling. You choose what to hide, so you can still get value from social media without getting trapped in the scroll. MakeYaBed turns each day into three little wins. Make your bed, then choose two habits that fit your life. Take a photo for each check-in and watch your progress grow. MAKE IT YOURS Bed made stays in the first slot. Swap your other two habits whenever you need to: Workout, Doing work, Healthy meal, Read a book, Go outside, or Finish Wordle. Unfinished habits can change today; completed photos stay with their original habit. SEE YOUR PROGRESS Each verified photo fills one of three daily wins. Explore your days in a photo history, see month and year heatmaps, and open an animated progress view. Keep a showing-up streak and earn berries for small wins. Bogi and a daily quote offer a little encouragement. SHARE WITH FRIENDS Add friends with an invite code. See their streaks and daily progress. Friends can share their daily photos if they choose, or keep photos private and show only habit icons. Create Day, Month, or Year progress cards for Instagram Stories or save an image to share elsewhere. KEEP YOUR WINS Optional Sign in with Apple backs up your check-ins, private photos, habit choices, and berries so you can restore them after reinstalling or changing iPhones. You can use the app without signing in, but unsynced local data cannot be restored after the app is deleted. Review your sharing choice and manage your data in Settings. Take photos in the app. With your permission, a reduced photo is sent to Anthropic for an AI check. A check-in records a moment of showing up; it does not measure workout duration, productivity, or identity. No location tracking is required. A daily bed nudge and an evening check-in are optional; the quote stays on Today. MakeYaBed is free; no subscription or in-app purchase is required. If you subscribed to an earlier version, manage it through your Apple Account. Privacy: https://makeyabed.com/privacy Support: https://makeyabed.com/support Terms: https://makeyabed.com/terms

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: MakeYaBed at 5.0 against ScrollGuard's 4.2. MakeYaBed also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 days). ScrollGuard's advantage is ratings volume (122 vs 5) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
