Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: VediMori at 5.0 against ENGSENCE's 4.4. VediMori also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). ENGSENCE's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
