Luxen
Read full descriptionHide full description
The brightness of a room can feel obvious, but small differences are often difficult to judge. Move closer to a window, change a lamp, turn on a monitor - and the lighting around you changes. Luxen turns those changes into readable lux measurements, giving you a simple way to explore and compare your surroundings. Point. Measure. Understand. Open the meter, start a session, and watch the reading change in real time. The main lux value gives you an immediate reference, while the live graph shows how illumination behaves throughout the measurement. A Clear Picture of Every Session Luxen records the important numbers automatically: - Current illumination - Minimum and maximum readings - Average level - Measurement duration - Date and time A simple Low / Good / High indicator also provides a quick interpretation of the current environment. Catch the Moment Use Hold when you want to freeze a reading. It's useful when checking a particular spot, moving between locations, or simply recording a value before continuing. Make Measurements Your Own Different devices and environments can produce different readings. The built-in correction offset lets you apply a calibration adjustment using a reference value. Turn Measurements Into a Record Save sessions and revisit them whenever you want. Add a note to remember where the measurement was taken or what you were testing. Compare saved results to discover how lighting changes between spaces and setups. From a desk that feels too dim to a creative setup that needs consistent illumination, Luxen gives you a practical way to investigate the light around you. No account is required. No internet connection is needed. Your measurements stay on your device and are processed locally.
