A timer you can read from across the room — and watch drain to nothing. Timedisk shows time as a shrinking disk. A wide coloured wedge fills the screen, and as the minutes pass it visibly disappears. There are no digits to decode and no arithmetic to do: you glance at it and you know how much is left. That is the whole idea, and it works for the people a digital clock has always failed. SET IT IN TWO SECONDS Drag your thumb around the dial to any length, or tap a preset — 5, 10, 15, 25, or one of your own. Start. That is the entire interaction, which matters when starting is the hard part. MADE FOR ADULTS, NOT ONLY CLASSROOMS Visual timers have been styled for six-year-olds for twenty years. Timedisk's default look is clean, quiet, and grown-up, and it can sit on your desk in a meeting without announcing anything about you. When it is for a child, kid mode flips it to big playful shapes and colours. IT KEEPS PERFECT TIME Set it, put the phone face up, walk away, and glance over from the other side of the kitchen. The countdown keeps perfect time even if you close the app or restart the phone, because it counts down to a fixed moment rather than ticking along — and the alert still arrives at zero. CHAIN A ROUTINE Build a routine out of steps — dress 10, breakfast 15, shoes 5 — each with its own label, length, and colour. Timedisk runs them back to back, chimes between them, and always shows what is running now and what is coming next. Mornings, bedtimes, homework blocks, cleaning sprints, lesson changeovers, physio sets. FOR TIME BLINDNESS If you have ADHD, or you look after someone who does, you already know that "five more minutes" is not a unit anyone can feel. A disk that visibly empties turns an abstract number into something you can watch arriving. The same goes for autistic routines, for children who cannot read a clock yet, and for anyone who looks up and finds an hour gone. ALERTS THAT LAND Pick a sound per timer, feel the haptic, and see the screen flash at zero. Through the last stretch the colour shifts to warn you it is nearly up, so the end never ambushes you. Keep the screen awake whenever the disk is on show. PAY ONCE, OWN IT Buy Timedisk Lifetime and it is yours: no subscription, no renewal, no losing your routines because a card expired.
