Arpas Meteo is the new app developed by the Meteorological and Climate Department of ARPAS, the Regional Agency for Environmental Protection of the Region of Sardinia (Italy). It offers daily weather forecasts for the island's territory, which are compiled by their own meteorologists based on numerous numerical models (general circulation and limited area), in addition to utilizing data from their networks of over three hundred weather stations, the Monte Rasu (SS) meteorological radar, several satellites, and other measurement systems.

BlipSat turns your satellite communicator into a two-way information terminal. Out of cell range on a ZOLEO, Garmin inReach, SPOT X or Bivy Stick? Send a short command and get the answer back over your satellite communicator. No cell signal, no Wi-Fi required in the field. WHAT YOU CAN ASK - Aviation weather: METAR and TAF reports, with an optional plain-English decode, plus D-ATIS at supported airports. - Weather radar: request a radar picture for an airport or your current position; the app renders a radar grid over an offline airport map, including a forward "corridor" aligned to your direction of travel. - Sports scores: live and final scores for MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL. - Stock quotes: quick prices on the symbols you follow. - Web search: ask a question in plain language and get a concise, AI-assisted answer. HOW IT WORKS When you have an internet connection, the app sends your request directly to the BlipSat service and shows the reply instantly. When you're off the grid, the same request goes out over your satellite communicator via Bluetooth, and the reply comes back the same way — automatically. Long answers are split to fit your device's per-message limit, so nothing gets cut off. BUILT FOR THE FIELD - Works with ZOLEO, Garmin inReach, SPOT X and Bivy Stick satellite communicators. - Automatic path selection: internet when available, satellite when it isn't. - On-device airport map and radar rendering — no data connection needed to draw it. - A clean message history so you can review every request and reply. - Readable in the cockpit or the backcountry, with adjustable text size. WHO IT'S FOR Pilots, backcountry travelers, boaters, and anyone who ventures beyond cellular coverage and still wants weather, radar, scores, and answers on demand.
