AQI Path

AQI Path is a smart navigation app designed to help you choose the cleanest, healthiest routes for commuting, exercising, or exploring your city. In a time when urban air pollution continues to rise and affect daily life, AQI Path ensures your journey is not only about reaching your destination but also about protecting your health every step of the way. The app uses real-time Air Quality Index data combined with live traffic and travel time information to recommend routes with the lowest pollution levels. This means whether you are walking, cycling, running, or driving, you can balance cleaner air with convenience and reach your destination without unnecessary exposure to harmful conditions. One of AQI Path’s standout features is its unique support for runners and cyclists. Users can simply enter a preferred distance, such as 2, 5, or 10 kilometres, and the app will generate a loop route that starts and ends at the same location while maintaining the lowest possible AQI for the entire trip. This makes it ideal for those who want to maintain a fitness routine without compromising respiratory health. For daily commuters, the app blends AQI readings with live traffic updates to suggest routes that are both time-efficient and healthier, ensuring you do not have to choose between speed and safety. The app also offers a clear, colour-coded AQI map that allows you to view your area’s air quality at a glance, making it easy to avoid highly polluted zones. This visualisation is continuously updated in real time, giving you the confidence that your chosen path reflects the most current environmental conditions. In addition, AQI Path sends timely alerts when air quality in your area drops or when a better, healthier route becomes available for your intended journey. This keeps you informed and prepared to adapt your plans, even during unexpected changes in weather or traffic. By integrating environmental data directly into navigation, AQI Path goes beyond traditional maps and route planners. Most navigation tools focus solely on distance and speed, but AQI Path places your well-being at the centre of travel decisions. This makes it valuable for commuters seeking to reduce daily exposure to pollution, fitness enthusiasts looking for safer running or cycling routes, parents aiming to protect their children’s health during school commutes, and travellers who want to explore new places while breathing cleaner air. Air pollution has been linked to respiratory issues, fatigue, and long-term health problems, and daily exposure—even in small amounts—can have a lasting impact. AQI Path helps you make informed travel choices so you can reduce your exposure and improve your quality of life. Whether you are dodging traffic fumes in the city, steering clear of industrial areas, or simply finding the freshest air for your morning jog, AQI Path makes cleaner travel simple, smart, and accessible. By combining health, convenience, and cutting-edge technology, AQI Path turns every journey into an opportunity to breathe better and live healthier. With its accurate data, intuitive design, and thoughtful features, it empowers you to take control of your daily exposure to pollution and navigate your world with health in mind.
Hygrometer
This app helps you monitor and prevent mold and condensation by calculating surface humidity, not just room humidity. It provides real-time alerts based on surface temperature and outdoor weather forecasts, and advises on optimal times to ventilate your home.
- Surface humidity calculation
- Mold and condensation risk alerts
- Dynamic humidity limits based on forecast
- Ventilation advice (driest hour)

Mold does not grow because a room is humid. It grows on the one surface that is colder than the rest — a corner, a window reveal, the wall behind a wardrobe. The air touching that surface can sit at 97% while the middle of the room reads a comfortable 55%. Hygrometer works out what is happening on that surface, and tells you the humidity to keep the room under. WATCH A ROOM • Add the cold surface you are worried about: a corner, a window reveal, an uninsulated wall, single or double glazing • See the humidity at that surface, not just in the room • Get the limit for the room, worked out from the surface temperature and the weather outside • That limit moves with the forecast — the same wall tolerates 73% on a mild day and 41% in a cold snap THREE WAYS TO GET THE NUMBERS • A HomeKit humidity sensor, read automatically — Eve Room, Aqara, SwitchBot, Netatmo and others • Typed in from your own hygrometer, whenever you check it • Or neither: Hygrometer estimates the likely range from the outdoor conditions and how the room is used, using the EN ISO 13788 humidity classes. Shown as a range, never as a measurement of your room WARNINGS THAT ARRIVE IN TIME • Mold risk when the surface reaches 80% humidity, which is long before anything looks wet • Condensation when the surface falls below the dew point • And before either: a colder forecast tonight pulls the limit down, so the warning comes before the surface turns, not after SHOULD YOU OPEN THE WINDOW? The answer relative humidity gets backwards. Airing out only dries a room when the outdoor air carries less water in absolute terms. In winter it nearly always does, even at 90% outside. On a warm humid day it often does not, and opening a cool room makes it damper. Hygrometer compares both sides in g/m³ and names the driest hour of the day. THE OUTDOOR INSTRUMENT • Outdoor relative humidity on a 0–100% analog dial with comfort bands • Dew point, absolute humidity in g/m³, mixing ratio, pressure and conditions • 24-hour humidity chart • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, which fetch their own reading rather than waiting for you to open the app ALSO • Follow your location, or search any city worldwide • °C / °F throughout • Eight languages • No account, no tracking, no ads Outdoor readings come from Apple Weather. Indoor readings come from your own sensor or from you — iPhone has no humidity sensor, and this app never pretends otherwise. Weather data provided by Apple Weather.
