Hydra Trainer vs ASVAB Prep

Hydra Psychology Trainer – targeted training for demanding selection processes Hydra Trainer is your training environment for cognitive performance – ideal for preparing for psychological aptitude tests in selection processes, e.g. for the police, special forces, leadership courses or other security-related professions. The app bundles typical test formats in a clear, iOS-inspired interface so you can practise in a structured way and track your progress. What to expect • Number sequences & equations Practise logical and mathematical thinking with number sequences and incomplete equations. The tasks become progressively more difficult and challenge your pattern recognition skills. • Matrix & pattern recognition Train your figurative-logical thinking with matrix tasks, as found in classic intelligence and aptitude tests. Perfect for grasping regularities and structures more quickly. • Anagrams & word finding Solve anagrams with a focus on nouns and infinitive verbs. This trains your word finding, concentration and spelling under time pressure. • Pauli-style arithmetic tests Continuous arithmetic under pressure: task formats based on the Pauli test help you to increase your speed and accuracy in mental arithmetic. • Folding Template Test Train your spatial awareness and mental rotation by identifying the correct folded shapes from folding templates. • Occluded Motion Test Train your ability to predict movements by determining the positions of objects that continue to move behind a screen. • Memory test Strengthen your working and short-term memory with tasks that require you to keep changing information in mind over several steps. • Stroop, d-Test & Form Focus Test Train selective attention and concentration: the Stroop test challenges interference control, the d-Test targets selective attention, and the adaptive Form Focus Test is inspired by the FAKT II. • Leaderboard & account Compete with others: sign in with Apple or Google and submit your test results to the leaderboard. You can delete your account and all submitted results directly in the app at any time. • Adaptive difficulty & evaluation Hydra Trainer adapts tasks and difficulty levels to your performance level. After each test, you receive feedback on errors and processing time so that you can work specifically on your weaknesses. • Concentration without distraction Sleek, system-oriented design in iOS style: clear typography, calm colours, no unnecessary ‘gamification’ ballast. You concentrate on the essentials – the task. Who is Hydra Trainer intended for? • Applicants for police, special forces, pilots, air traffic controllers, studies (especially medicine, psychology, pharmacy, etc.) • Participants in selection and leadership courses • Anyone who wants to train their cognitive performance in a structured way Note / Disclaimer Hydra Trainer is a training and exercise tool for preparing for performance and aptitude tests. The app is not a medical or psychological diagnostic or therapeutic tool and does not replace professional diagnosis. Terms of use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula
