SHIFT Bartender Community vs Araujo Connect

SHIFT Bartender Community is a platform built for working bartenders, bar owners, and hospitality professionals around the world. We bring education, events, and industry networking into one app — made by people from the bar world. WHAT YOU CAN DO IN SHIFT • Events See bar shows, guest shifts, takeovers, trainings, and competitions — globally and locally. Add your own event so people can actually find it, not just hear about it by accident. • Community Connect with bars and hospitality people from different cities and countries. Discover new places and meet the industry behind them. • Feed Stay updated with what's happening in the industry. Read posts from the community: opportunities, ideas, opinions, and real talk from working professionals. • Education Learn from experts. We publish structured, no-nonsense articles about hospitality, service mindset, career growth, culture, and bar operations. • Profile Create your industry profile. Show your background and experience in hospitality. WHY WE BUILT THIS A lot of talent is outside the usual “famous” cities. SHIFT exists to make knowledge, events, and connections easier to access — no matter where you live. WHO IT’S FOR • Bartenders • Bar managers / owners • Servers / hosts / floor managers • Brand and ambassador community • Students entering hospitality Our goal is simple: help good people in hospitality get seen, get better, and get opportunities.

Araujo Connect is for anyone in the United States whose life has a Brazilian chapter — you lived there, served a mission there, studied or worked there, were born there, married into a Brazilian family, or simply fell for the place and never got over it. Build your Brazil story: the states, the cities, the years. Then explore a real map of Brazil and discover the people around you whose story overlaps with yours. Tap a city and see everyone who was there. • A living map of all 27 states and 5,570 cities • Discovery that tells you why you match — same city, same years, same experience • Search by Brazilian state, city, year range, or where people live now • Private messaging only after both people accept a connection • Your email, phone and address are never shown. City and state are enough. • Full app in English and Portuguese Started by Araujo Brazilian Kitchen in St. George, Utah — because the best conversations start over pão de queijo.
