Notebook Lists

This is a simple list making app to give the look and feel of a book with pages of lists. This list making app is different from most in that it works horizontally vs. vertically. It's my first app attempt made as a hobby so expect bugs and such. Features: A True Notebook Feel: A vintage book cover, graph paper pages, and custom fonts provide an analog feel. Horizontal Column Layout: A smarter, horizontal grid for your items that's perfect for both iPhone and iPad. Smart Resume: The app automatically "opens" to the last list you were editing, just like a real notebook. List Templates: Get started instantly with built-in templates for "Packing" and "Grocery" lists, complete with default categories. Item Catalog: Tapping the 'box' icon lets you add items from a master catalog. Anything you add is automatically saved to the catalog for future use. Powerful List Management: Tap and hold any list to Edit, Delete, or Duplicate it (copying all its categories and items). Tap, hold, and drag lists on the main page to reorder them. Intuitive Item Controls: Tap, hold, and drag items to reorder them or move them between categories. Tap and hold a category name to Edit or Delete it. Simple tap-to-check functionality. Help On Every Page: A simple ? button on each screen explains all the hidden features, like drag-and-drop and context menus. Built for All Devices: Fully responsive design that is designed to work on iPhone and iPad, in both portrait and landscape. iCloud enabled to sync across your iPad and iPhone

Most to-do apps just hold your list. Onit gets it done with you. Two AI surfaces, one loop: a Co-Planner that builds your day, and a Co-Worker that steps inside a task and does the work โ summaries, checklists, drafts, and more. Your manual to-do list is free and unlimited. Forever. โ MEET THE CO-PLANNER โ No forms. No fields. Just tell Onit what's on your mind. - Type one line, speak it, snap a photo, or attach a document. - Onit turns it into a fully built task โ deadline, duration, and details set for you. - One quick follow-up ("Add to my day?") and you're done. โ MEET THE CO-WORKER โ Open a task and Onit is already up to speed. It knows the deadline, the time you have, and the files you attached. - Reads your documents, notes, and audio. - Produces real output: summaries, quizzes, flashcards, lists, drafts, reports, study notes, and checklists. - The output lives on the task โ copy it, save as PDF, share, or send to Notes. - Breaks big tasks into a few meaningful steps (3โ5), never endless busywork. - Knows your location, travel time, and weather when they matter. โ NOTES THAT DO SOMETHING โ - Write a note yourself, or tell Onit what it should be about and let it write. - Turn any note into tasks, a summary, a list, or a study set. - Search your notes, or ask them a question and get an answer with the source. โ BUILT SIMPLE โ Three tabs. That's it. - Home: today's flow, unscheduled tasks, and reminders in one clean timeline. - Calendar: see your week and sync your Apple Calendar and Reminders. - Notes: everything you wrote, and everything Onit wrote for you. โ PERFECT FOR โ - Knowledge workers turning docs into drafts and summaries - Students turning readings into study notes, quizzes, and flashcards - Busy parents capturing to-dos by voice or photo - Anyone who takes notes and never turns them into anything - Anyone who's app-hopped looking for a to-do app that finally sticks โ MANUAL TO-DOS ARE FREE, FOREVER โ Unlike apps that lock your task list behind a paywall, Onit keeps manual to-dos completely free and unlimited. You only pay for the AI โ the Co-Planner and Co-Worker. โ ONIT PRO โ Unlock unlimited AI planning, task, and note tools. - Weekly: $5.99 - Yearly: $39.99 Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Notebook Lists at none against Onit's 2. Onit's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
