NinjamZap brings real-time online jamming to iPhone, iPad and Mac — with live video. Connect to any NINJAM server, pick a username, and play music with people around the world. Free, no ads, no studio required. NINJAM is a proven protocol for internet music collaboration, used by musicians for over 15 years. Instead of fighting network latency, NINJAM embraces it: everyone plays along to a shared metronome, and you hear what others played in the previous interval. The result is a surprisingly natural and creative way to make music together. NinjamZap is the first native NINJAM client for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and the first NINJAM client of any kind with live video. LIVE VIDEO (NinjamZap rooms only) - See every musician you're jamming with, frame-locked to the jam interval - Voice chat: talk face to face between songs, then get back to playing - HD up to 1280x720 per tile, with quality that adapts to the room - External display output for the video grid, one-tap full screen - Built-in, USB and Continuity cameras JAMMING & AUDIO - Connect to any public or private NINJAM room and start playing - Multi-channel: up to 8 local channels (mono or stereo) for your whole rig — guitar, bass, vocals, drums, synths - A mixer for the whole band: volume, pan, mute and solo for every musician and channel - USB audio interfaces — iRig, MOTU, Focusrite, Behringer and more - Audio FX per channel: reverb, compressor and mic boost - Room key detection: see the key the band is playing in - Session recording at 256 kbps AAC, metronome-free and ready for your DAW - Vorbis quality presets from Quick (64 kbps) to Studio (256 kbps) - Latency profiles from Ultra Low (3 ms) to Safe (10 ms) BRING YOUR WHOLE RIG - AUv3 Send: route synths, effects and plugins from AUM straight into your session - LAN Companion: use a second phone, a laptop or our desktop plugin as a wireless input over Wi-Fi - Ableton Link: your apps follow the room's tempo - MIDI Clock Out: sync drum machines, synths and DAWs to the room - BPM/BPI voting and tap tempo SESSIONS & COMMUNITY - Guest mode: no account needed, pick a username and you're in - Sign in for free to send video, use FX and add channels - Browse public rooms and see who's playing, with photos, flags and instruments - Musician profiles: photo, bio, city and instruments - Live chat with links, translations and replies - Report and block users, community rules and a chat profanity filter - On Mac: keyboard shortcuts, resizable chat and a full mixer view HOW IT WORKS 1. NinjamZap is an independent client, not affiliated with Cockos or the official NINJAM project. Live video is a NinjamZap extension, only available on NinjamZap-hosted rooms; other NINJAM clients ignore video channels and audio still works for everyone. The core audio engine is open source under GPL v3 at github.com/jacinside/ninjamzap-core. Works with any standard NINJAM server. Free, no ads, no in-app purchases.

Pruina freezes sound. Tap once and Pruina captures the spectrum of whatever is playing, a chord, a vocal, a whole mix, and holds it as an endless, gently evolving drone that never decays. Then shape it into rising shimmer clouds, breathy air, crystalline bells, or a huge reverberant wash. Under the hood it runs a real spectral analysis of your audio and, the instant you freeze, takes a snapshot and resynthesizes it with slowly drifting phase. Instead of fading away, the sound sustains forever and breathes, like a pad you never have to hold down. THREE MODES, ONE ENGINE Freeze: tap to capture and hold the spectrum indefinitely. Smear: continuously blur the spectrum into a soft, washing texture. Shimmer: pitched, regenerating layers that rise endlessly. SHIMMER THAT RISES Choose an interval (octave, fifth, octave plus fifth, or two octaves) and turn up Regen to feed the shimmer back on itself, building infinite cascading clouds. BUILD CHORDS BY EAR Turn on Layer and every freeze adds to what is already held. Stack captures into evolving chords and pads, live, one tap at a time. SCULPT THE SOUND Blur: smear the spectrum across frequency to morph a pitched freeze into breath and air. Sparkle: gate down to the spectral peaks for glassy, bell-like tones. Warp: stretch the timbre. Motion: slow drift and breathing that keep a frozen pad alive. Tone: low cut, high cut, and tilt. SPACE A lush, modulated reverb (Reverb, Size, Damp) wraps everything in a wide, dimensional tail, from an intimate room to a cathedral that rings for minutes. Stereo Spread and Width open it up. 16 READY-TO-PLAY PRESETS Infinite Cathedral, Rising Aurora, Supermassive, Glass Bells, Crystalline, Frozen Choir, Ghost Vox, Vapor Trails, Nebula, Granular Dust, Shimmer Wash, Dark Matter, Sub Bloom, Slow Tide, Chord Builder, and Default. Browse them with the header arrows, tweak anything, and save your own. PLUGIN AND STANDALONE Full AUv3 audio effect for GarageBand, AUM, Logic, and any AUv3 host, with host presets, parameter automation, and reported latency so your project stays in sync. Runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Standalone mode includes a built-in demo pad, live microphone input, and song import with export of the processed result.
