Most coin apps give you a number and expect you to trust it. Coffer doesn't do that. Scan a coin, bill, or certified slab, and you'll see exactly where the price came from — a Numista listing you can click through and check yourself, or a real PCGS cert lookup, not a black box. I built this because I was tired of guessing what my own collection was actually worth. Every coin app I tried either made up a number or buried the source so deep you'd never find it. So Coffer shows its work. Every time. Snap a photo. Get the denomination, year, mint mark, and condition identified automatically — coins, paper currency, and slabbed pieces all work the same way. If we genuinely can't find a reliable price, we tell you that instead of faking one. Your whole collection lives in one place after that: real portfolio value over time (not a smoothed-over guess), silver and gold tracked separately by live melt value, and sets you can build from scratch or start from a preset — 50 State Quarters, America the Beautiful, take your pick — with open slots for what you're still hunting down. There's a running feed of numismatic news from CoinWeek, NGC, and PCGS if you want to stay current, plus a coin worth knowing about every week. And yes, there are badges — scan your first coin, hit your hundredth, stack some silver. Small stuff, but it's fun to watch add up. No subscriptions. No ads. Just an honest look at what you actually own.
