SynStrategy is an organic chemistry app for anyone studying or working in organic synthesis. Its key feature is the categorization of named reactions and unnamed chemical reactions by the functional groups they form, helping students and practitioners navigate the vast landscape of organic transformations. The app features 27 main functional group categories, each further subdivided (for example, Alcohols include primary, secondary, tertiary, allylic, and homoallylic alcohols, and more). This structured organization gives chemists a clearer view of available transformations during synthetic and retrosynthetic analysis. SynStrategy currently includes over 500 organic chemistry reactions, with their synthetic use cases highlighted in more than 400 total synthesis examples. NEW: We've added the mechanisms for a collection of classic named oxidation reactions, with more to come. Each mechanism includes literature references you can look up for further detail. The first set covers the Albright-Goldman, Anelli, Babler-Dauben, Baeyer-Villiger, Ball-Goodwin-Morton, Collins, Corey-Gilman-Ganem, Corey-Kim, Corey-Schmidt, Corey-Suggs, Criegee, Dakin, Davis, Davis Asymmetric, and TEMPO oxidations. Beyond the reference library, SynStrategy includes interactive tools to help you study organic chemistry and organize these transformations. Save specific reactions into custom datasets that can be exported and shared with colleagues. Test your knowledge with the app's study modes: a Quiz system featuring three formats with multiple-choice and advanced questions on chemical reactions and total synthesis steps, plus a traditional Flashcard mode. Both modes include session analytics so you can track your progress. NEW: A Statistics dashboard now lets you review your quiz and flashcard results, see what you've studied, and get an overview of your activity in the app over time (More → Statistics). Whether you're preparing for an organic chemistry (orgo) exam, reviewing named reactions and mechanisms, or planning a synthesis in the lab, SynStrategy aims to be a useful organic chemistry companion. There are countless exceptional total syntheses and synthetically relevant methodologies in the literature, and we aim to grow the selection over time. About

LatentLens

Features

LatentLens teaches artificial intelligence the way a great teacher would — by starting with something you already understand. Every lesson opens with a familiar analogy from everyday life. Then it shows you where that analogy breaks down. Then it gives you the real concept, visualised and interactive, so you can see exactly how the pieces fit together. No maths degree. No prerequisites. No jargon before the intuition. — WHAT YOU'LL LEARN — 6 pillars. 39 lessons. Every major concept in modern AI, built up from first principles. • Foundations — the maths behind every AI model: vectors, calculus, probability, information theory • Machine Learning — how computers learn from examples: regression, classification, decision trees, clustering, reinforcement learning • Deep Learning — neural networks that see, hear, and create: perceptrons, backpropagation, CNNs, generative models • Language & LLMs — how AI reads and writes: tokenisation, embeddings, the Transformer architecture, LLM agents, hallucination • Applied AI — techniques you can use today: prompt engineering, RAG systems, fine-tuning, model deployment, AI product design • Ethics & Safety — making AI responsible: bias, interpretability, AI safety, governance, environmental impact — HOW EACH LESSON WORKS — Every lesson follows the same seven-step arc: 1. What you know — an analogy from everyday life that mirrors the AI concept 2. The challenge — why the everyday version breaks down at scale 3. The insight — the key idea that bridges the gap 4. Picture it — a custom illustration of the concept 5. See it work — an interactive visualisation you control 6. The name — the precise technical vocabulary 7. Try it — a transfer question in a completely new context Each lesson takes about 8–12 minutes. You can pause, pick up exactly where you left off, and revisit any step. — 9 INTERACTIVE PLAYGROUNDS — Lessons don't describe — they show. Drag points on a regression canvas. Watch gradient descent find the minimum in real time. Build a K-means clustering result step by step. Explore how model complexity creates overfitting. These aren't videos. They're hands-on. Visualisations include: vector playground, gradient descent animator, distribution explorer, decision boundary explorer, tree builder, K-means stepper, regression canvas, feature encoder, and complexity slider. — PROGRESS AND GAMIFICATION — • XP points and a level system for every completed lesson • Daily streaks with a built-in freeze so one missed day doesn't wipe your record • 8 badges for milestones: first lesson, pillar completions, 7-day streak, quiz mastery, and more • Full lesson history with quiz scores and completion dates • Resume any lesson mid-step — your exact position is saved — FREE TO START — The first lesson of Foundations and the first lesson of Machine Learning are permanently free — no account required, no login, no timer, no trial. Just open the app and learn. Upgrade to LatentLens Pro to unlock all 39 lessons: • Monthly — $1.99 / month, cancel anytime • Annual — $7.99 / year (best value — $0.67/month) • Lifetime — $9.99, one-time purchase Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
