Turn conversations into text you can use—on your iPhone. VoxScript records, transcribes and helps you work with audio without sending your recordings or transcripts to a cloud transcription service. Capture an idea, revisit an interview, organize a lecture or turn a shared voice memo into useful notes. CHOOSE THE RIGHT MODEL Use Whisper, Parakeet V3, SenseVoice, Canary or Apple SpeechAnalyzer for supported audio and video imports. Choose Automatic to route by language, or select a model yourself. Language support varies by model. FOLLOW ALONG AS YOU RECORD Choose Whisper's periodic captions, English Parakeet streaming, or Nemotron captions in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Mandarin Chinese and Japanese. Your finished transcript uses a separately selected Whisper model after you stop. KNOW WHO SAID WHAT Identify speakers, choose an expected speaker count, rename voices and re-analyze saved audio. Keep bookmarks while recording so important moments are easy to find again. BRING YOUR AUDIO WITH YOU Import audio or video, select multiple files, or share media into VoxScript from Voice Memos, Files and other apps. Confirm the model, language and speaker settings before transcription starts. MAKE THE TRANSCRIPT YOURS Edit text, find and replace, remove filler words and restore the original. Add custom vocabulary hints for Whisper, generate titles and summaries, and organize your library with tags, favorites and speaker or date filters. LISTEN, TRANSLATE AND EXPORT Adjust playback speed or skip quiet gaps. Translate supported speech to English with Whisper, or use Canary for direct translation between English and its supported European languages. Additional text translation depends on Apple Intelligence availability. Original audio and source transcripts remain accessible. Export TXT, SRT, VTT, Markdown, JSON, PDF or Word (.docx), or share the saved audio itself. BUILT FOR IPHONE Use Siri and Shortcuts, Home and Lock Screen widgets, Control Center recording controls, and Live Activities with Dynamic Island on supported iPhones. Set a recording auto-stop time, resume interrupted work, or enable optional App Lock. LOCAL PROCESSING, CLEAR LIMITS Audio and transcript processing stay on device. Models and system assets may need an initial download; supported downloaded models can then work offline. Purchases, model downloads and app analytics use network services separately. Availability and accuracy depend on the model, language, device and system version. Review important transcripts and translations against the source audio. Try VoxScript with the included free transcription allowance. Pro options are shown in the app, including a lifetime purchase. Features requiring Apple Intelligence depend on compatible hardware, supported languages and model availability. Want to read a lecture or class video instead of rewatching it? Pick the video in Voxcribe and the audio becomes text — with a translation into your language. Missed something? Tap any line and the video plays from that exact moment. Even a long lecture becomes something you can skim. --- Perfect For --- - Reviewing a lecture you took in another language, in your own - Checking what was said in a recorded meeting or seminar - Learning a language by comparing the original and the translation - Getting a first draft for video subtitles --- Key Features --- - Transcribe a video just by picking it (English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, German) - Translation into 7 languages, for the full text or line by line - Timeline view that plays the video in sync with the text - Edit, copy and share the text, or send it to other apps - Organize transcripts into folders by class or project --- Privacy --- - Transcription runs on your device first. When that isn't possible, it uses Apple's speech recognition service - Your videos stay on your device and are never sent to the developer's servers - Translation uses Apple's translation feature (offline use needs the language downloaded) --- What It Can't Do --- - Accuracy drops with unclear audio or a lot of background noise. It's made for getting the content — reviewing lectures, learning languages — rather than word-perfect minutes --- Pricing --- Free plan: Transcription up to 3 minutes Pro plan: Unlimited transcription + translation (monthly auto-renewal) Subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID. Auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel anytime in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
