BusTracker vs Bus Tracker

BusTracker Driver is the essential companion app for authorized school bus drivers associated with https://bustracker.unibatech.net/. This professional tool enables drivers to share their real-time location with parents during active routes, ensuring transparency and peace of mind. DRIVER-ONLY APP: This app is exclusively for bus drivers registered on the BusTracker platform. Drivers initiate routes from the web dashboard at https://bustracker.unibatech.net/, and this mobile app handles the real-time location transmission. Parents view live bus locations through the web platform, not through this app. Key Features: • Simple one-tap route control • Real-time GPS location sharing during active routes • Session tracking with duration and data points sent • Privacy-focused: location shared only when route is active • Secure authentication for authorized drivers only • Seamless integration with BusTracker web platform Perfect for school transportation services that prioritize safety and communication. Drivers start their routes from the web platform, then use this app to transmit their location in real-time while parents track the bus through the web interface. How it works: 1. Log in with your driver credentials. 2. Tap "Start Route" when you begin picking up students. 3. The app securely transmits your location to the parent portal. 4. Tap "Stop Route" when the trip is complete to disable location access. Note: This app requires an active driver account provided by your school transportation department.

Bus Tracker keeps parents in the loop on a school or group bus. The person on the bus sets up a route and runs it; parents see the bus on a live map and get notified the moment their child is picked up or dropped off — plus a heads-up when the bus is a few minutes or a few stops away. FOR DRIVERS - Create a bus group and share a simple join code - Build your route by importing a photo of a route sheet (on-device text recognition) or by adding stops, mapped along real roads - Run the route and share the bus's live location - Add co-drivers to help take attendance FOR PARENTS - Join with a code and add your child - Pick your child's stop on the map - Choose exactly which alerts you want: picked up, dropped off, a set number of minutes before, or a set number of stops before - Watch the bus move in real time and see arrival times on your lock screen Bus Tracker is built for small school and community bus routes. Location is shared only by the driver while a route is actively running, and only with members of your group.
