About

Echoly

Features

Most transcription apps handle short clips. Echoly is built for the long recordings that matter — a two-hour lecture, a full interview, an entire meeting. Record directly in the app or import audio you already have. Echoly uploads it, transcribes it on our servers, and hands back text you can actually read and search. LONG RECORDINGS, HANDLED Recording keeps running with your screen locked. Files are written to disk as you go, so a crash never costs you a session. There is no short-clip limit to work around. A TRANSCRIPT YOU CAN READ The transcript is designed to be read, not skimmed past. Generous line spacing, adjustable text size, and the current word highlighted as the audio plays. Tap any word to jump straight to that moment in the recording. Search the full transcript and jump between matches. Follow along, or read it like a document. WHO SAID WHAT Speaker separation labels each voice, so interviews and meetings stay readable instead of collapsing into one wall of text. EXPORT AND MOVE ON Export as plain text or as SRT subtitles. Copy the whole transcript, or share it straight from the app. BUILT FOR REAL WORK Students recording lectures. Journalists working through interviews. Teams turning meetings into notes. Researchers transcribing fieldwork. Anyone who would otherwise type it all out by hand. LANGUAGES Automatic language detection, with support across a wide range of languages including English and Turkish. Choose the language manually whenever you prefer. PRIVACY Your recordings are yours. Audio is uploaded only when you ask for a transcript — recordings you keep on your device are never sent anywhere. We do not use your audio or transcripts to train AI models. Delete a recording, or your whole account, from inside the app. PLANS Start free with 30 minutes of transcription each month, no account needed to record. Lite — 8 hours of transcription per month Pro — 15 hours per month Both paid plans include speaker separation, the most accurate model, and exports. Monthly or annual billing. Cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings. A NOTE ON ACCURACY Transcription is automated, and accuracy depends on audio quality, accents and background noise. For anything consequential, check the transcript against the original audio.
